Absolutely not under-appreciated and most of the judges are impressed. It’s just that judges are not all from the same style of music (rap, pop, rock, funk, variety, etc) and don’t always know what to do with this sort of voice and personality. And we can’t forget that public is at the end the only voter and it‘s not exactly the most popular genre of music these days. So it’s great to hear them at least during the blind auditions.
