Actually in the early era of BTS they were already popular, but they were not known by kmedia, just because they were from a small company. And now, kmedia can't longer deny the popularity they have. The difficulty they had to face then was, their own country did not support them. Therefore, they work diligently not only to be known but to spread the positive as well. We all know the first performance in a live concert after the virus ends, BTS and Army would be crying. Even if you’re not physically there seeing them finally meet other army face to face can push you to tears. Like just thinking about it makes me overwhelmed.
In Asian countries... we call every girl and boy who is older than us sister or brother we call every women and men who are our parents age aunty and uncle and we call every elderly people grandma and grandpa even if they are strangers..
It also happens in western cultures, it's just not as prevalent. Perhaps because for many decades, there's more "social distancing". Not the kind we are using today in this pandemic, but the kind of distancing where people are afraid to step on people's toes & boundaries with strangers. Because calling a stranger as "grandpa" might sound offensive & taunting. It really is about the culture & society. It's the same with physical distance. In some parts of the world, when two men are talking to each other, their heads could be 6 inches apart, but in the U.S., that distance feels uncomfortable, so instead it's more like 2-3 feet apart at the closest.
At my church I have to say 'brother' or 'sister' before anyone's name, it doesn't matter the age. It can be a baby or and elder. For example, 'Sister Nancy' or 'Brother Tony'

That is because in that religion, everyone is a brother & sister in spirit, in the eyes of God. That means that your own grandfather is your brother, your great-great-great-great grand niece is your sister, and your neighbor next door & someone you never knew from 8000 years ago are also your spiritual sibling. It all has to do with dispensation & our separation from each other due to long lengths of time.
When I watch the videos with you familia , I feel so motivated , I think if they could do why can't I ? I'm still a student and Bangtan constantly encourages me to never give up even if there's no noticeable progress. I think the reason BTS weren't bigger in SK at debut is because SK is at the heart of KPop & there are hundreds of pop groups happening simultaneously in a small country such as there. So with the saturation of hundreds of band groups, the attention to BTS within SK had less attention because these people were already fans of other groups prior. Of course they had thousands of Korean fans within SK by debut, but again it was a numbers game. This is where the international scene came in as you now have 8 billion potential fans/customers to get your attention. And of course, in SK there was also that envy & jealousy from other fandoms during their debut (and pre-debut) years, so that obviously was a also factor.
When it was japanese, the translations were harder to kinda get or find. When i entered the fandom at 2015, (and it's 2021 now) i realized how much actual effort and hard work i can put in, in supporting artist's that are really so dear to me.

Just a comment about the cypher scene: That clip was cut to show a little bit of each members part and so each part would flow effortlessly into the other (removing the chorus between them). Just wanted to let you know by you Cubs commented on how effortlessly they flow into the other and I’m just sitting here like “yeah, bc it’s edited to be that way” 😂😂

The thing back those days was, BTS was already famous overseas, evident of their awards and stages overseas. But if you look at their improvements in Korea at that time, it's very slow, mainly because, from what I believe, Korean Media focuses a lot on the artist on Big3 company and tend to focus less on the other company or idols who are less famous, just look at the tv show that BTS attended or being invited, you can count them with your fingers. That's why BTS strive overseas more until now.

Globally people were crazy for them since the beginning and their first song also charted on billboard the first korean group to be charted but the korean media never highlighted them bcz they were from a small company... But bts was breaking record one after one.. Had the highest song sell but the korean industry didn't give attention to them back in 2015-2016... They used give attention to big company groups... And bts were even cut out of the Broadcast so many time but korean armys never leave them.. They were asked about Danger and they expressed how Danger is still so hard to do.

A lot of people always try to promote that BTS were underdogs and only really made it in 2017, but they were always doing well and a lot of people were just closed minded and unaware. Newer fans gotta stop believing that BTS wasn't successful. They were successful, they just had way more stones put in their way than other groups BECAUSE they were this successful without going the usual kpop idol route. The industry didn't like it that BH and BTS didn't play by their rules and therefore decided to make them struggle or have them destroyed.
they were already famous af in 2016 here in Brazil, in their 2017 concert there were more than 30k armys in line wanting to buy the tickets but there were only 17k tickets and i saw many armys here crying cause they couldnt attend the concert. What im trying to say is that Bts got famous first overseas and only after that they started to be recognized in korea cause big hit was so small and the broadcasting companies didnt respect them, so thats why they would tour in other countries since the beginning

A lot of people always try to promote that BTS were underdogs and only really made it in 2017, but they were always doing well and a lot of people were just closed minded and unaware. Newer fans gotta stop believing that BTS wasn't successful. They were successful, they just had way more stones put in their way than other groups BECAUSE they were this successful without going the usual kpop idol route. The industry didn't like it that BH and BTS didn't play by their rules and therefore decided to make them struggle or have them destroyed.

they were already famous af in 2016 here in Brazil, in their 2017 concert there were more than 30k armys in line wanting to buy the tickets but there were only 17k tickets and i saw many armys here crying cause they couldnt attend the concert. What im trying to say is that Bts got famous first overseas and only after that they started to be recognized in korea cause big hit was so small and the broadcasting companies didnt respect them, so thats why they would tour in other countries since the beginning

Just discovered your channel; y’all are great. Just wanna point out that most rookie K-pop idols do charity work, like delivering goods, coals and redecorating elders’ homes. It’s not exclusive to Bangtan. Other idol groups do and did get theirs publicized on tv and articles, as did Bangtan.
