Being on Twitter is like a warzone everyday. Armys always faces something wrong, armys fights for bts because the amount of hate is unbelievable. We have no rest, everyday is a new type of hate. Thank goodness we are a big fandom and we can easily take care of these things as well as enjoy the community in army!

Yeah.. Someone told me that Twitter ARMYs are toxic and asked me to not join twitter. I was so curious. So I made a twt account just to understand what she mean. I met a lot of good ARMYs on twitter. Since it was my first time on a social media platform ( I dont have any Fb or other social media account) they helped me how to use twitter and all that stuff. To be honest they are protecting BTS and ARMY from all the hate. There are so many people out there who say very hateful and hurtful comments about BTS and ARMY with the "Joke" card. When ARMYs talk against it, they will be awarded as most toxic fandom. They actively participate in voting (some ARMYs who are not on twitter didnt even know about voting). They work so hard for BTS to top Charts. They are witty and funny too. They spread every piece of news about BTS in no time. I wont deny the fact that there are some toxic and delulu fans (i dont want to address them as ARMYs) who act like they own BTS. Twitter ARMYs are the backbone of the entire fandom.

You just have to follow rational armys and yeah I personally upload a bunch of apps that I don't use just to vote for bts and we're always asking people to do the same but people here on yt usually care only for happy stuff and just watch and celebrate when bts win awards (I'm not talking about everyone, there are exceptions ofc)

yeah sure they suffered and I am a huge fan but that doesn't mean we should shy away from their mistakes. There is a reason why they do not produce songs like war of hormone anymore, they acknowledged the inherent sexism and misogyny drilled in them by the society and evolved into better women-respecting versions of themselves. The belief that they are perfect is a myth and its dangerous, they are an inspiration to young minds and I love that they realised where they were going wrong so that their fans do not learn shit from wrong examples. Supporting and condoning this song is just disrespecting the progress BTS has achieved as musicians and more importantly as people.

When I looked through the lyrics of ‘War of Hormone’, the way I perceived it was them acting upon “teenage hormones”. I see it as them being teenage boys, and how they “act” or “think” when they see a pretty girl walking by. Many BTS songs have such deep meaning, but I think with this song, many people didn’t go beyond the lyrics that were being said in this song. I feel as if the lyrics were taken TOO literal. I haven’t been an army for a long time like most, but from what I’ve seen, I know there was no malice behind the lyrics. Another thing I would like to add. I think it’s very funny how all of a sudden lyrics matter when it comes to BTS’s music. There are many songs, in many different regions that degrade women far worse than how people thought ‘War of Hormone’ did. Like with ‘Dynamite’, they got so much hate cuz the lyrics “didn’t make sense”, or there was no meaning behind them; yet so many artists make songs that aren’t even comprehendible, but it’s okay. There’s such a double standard that people have for BTS.

Imagine being a leader at such a young age…one must be really strong willed and principled to be a successful leader, now the biggest group in the world. Their story deserves to be heard by the whole world. It is quite inspirational, and something that will only happen once in awhile in decades. I am not disregarding other artist/groups work, but BTS is a rare gem. Everything in them just makes sense even if around them does not. I think everything just aligns right for them--the people around them, the right timing, mentors, influence and each members unique qualities just makes a one powerful group. Each member fills up a a space for a big puzzle, and RM is the center of it, a deep rooted tree.

The string at the top of the original ARMY Bomb V was playing with was the fuse. The version 1 had it and it was really cute but they had a tendency to break off. So much so that BigHit had to sell replacement fuses. On the version 2 they replaced the fuse with a red bump.
QOTD- My favourite songs to listen to off this album are "War of Hormone" and "Look Here", but I could watch the "Danger" dance practice over and over because it's mind blowing. I never understood the anger that "War of Hormone" received. To me the lyrics were just describing normal teenage boys being excited about girls..kind of an expected coming of age. I'm sure some of the backlash was due to cultural differences, we become numb to some of the disgusting lyrics that we sometimes hear in western music and that makes these lyrics seem so tame in comparison. RM as a leader, and just as a person in general always amazes me. Because of the age hierarchy in Korean, it can't be easy being a leader to 3 members older than him (kudos to those older members for putting the good of the team before their personal egos). I also think it's amazing how he can be so goofy and "one of the boys" so often and still command respect when necessary...it must be a fine line to walk. I have seen this series a few times and it's so detailed and amazing and I am enjoying watching it again with you.

WOH slander will always make me angry because the song and choreo is so fun. The thing is that BTS still gets a lot of hate from antis on line but the fandom is so huge now that the media doesn't pick up on it as much as they did in the past. Back then antis could say BTS was this or that and say that they stole something and K-media will write about it but ARMYs always had BTS' back. That's why the relationship between BTS and ARMYs are so special because the fan support + BTS' talent kept them going for so long. ARMYs made BTS too huge to ignore. In Korea the Kpop industry isn't that prestigious for college aged and young professionals. Soloists are usually favored as well as people in other genres. Kpop was always seen as music for little girls but BTS really came and changed that perception. I'm not saying they did it all alone because there are Kpop idols like G-DRAGON from Big Bang who are huge celebrities in Korea but the Korean general public has love and respect for BTS like that guy that JK poke's fun at who says rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrap monsta!

BTS alone does not hold responsibility to change the world so my problem is not with BTS, but the song and what it represents. So I agree, pulling them down for this one song and hating them was crazy but honest criticism offered for the lyrics was needed. What if it was encouraged? They are public figures and look at them now. They influence literally millions and what if a song like war of hormone held #1 on billboard. What would have been the message to teenage boys and girls everywhere? Again I am not saying they should not explore their sexuality but objectifying women and girls as an excuse to do so needs to stop.

When I looked through the lyrics of ‘War of Hormone’, the way I perceived it was them acting upon “teenage hormones”. I see it as them being teenage boys, and how they “act” or “think” when they see a pretty girl walking by. Many BTS songs have such deep meaning, but I think with this song, many people didn’t go beyond the lyrics that were being said in this song. I feel as if the lyrics were taken TOO literal. I haven’t been an army for a long time like most, but from what I’ve seen, I know there was no malice behind the lyrics.
Another thing I would like to add. I think it’s very funny how all of a sudden lyrics matter when it comes to BTS’s music. There are many songs, in many different regions that degrade women far worse than how people thought ‘War of Hormone’ did. Like with ‘Dynamite’, they got so much hate cuz the lyrics “didn’t make sense”, or there was no meaning behind them; yet so many artists make songs that aren’t even comprehendible, but it’s okay. There’s such a double standard that people have for BTS.

That’s not true either? Anyway, the reaction to that whole WOH thing is has people, fans, antis, etc. taking things to extremes, even in comments of videos like in this one, so it’s nice to see a comment that is rather reasonably thought out and felt, instead of a polarizing statement. So thank you for that.

Imagine being a leader at such a young age…one must be really strong willed and principled to be a successful leader, now the biggest group in the world. Their story deserves to be heard by the whole world. It is quite inspirational, and something that will only happen once in awhile in decades. I am not disregarding other artist/groups work, but BTS is a rare gem. Everything in them just makes sense even if around them does not. I think everything just aligns right for them--the people around them, the right timing, mentors, influence and each members unique qualities just makes a one powerful group. Each member fills up a a space for a big puzzle, and RM is the center of it, a deep rooted tree.

The string at the top of the original ARMY Bomb V was playing with was the fuse. The version 1 had it and it was really cute but they had a tendency to break off. So much so that BigHit had to sell replacement fuses. On the version 2 they replaced the fuse with a red bump.

QOTD- My favourite songs to listen to off this album are "War of Hormone" and "Look Here", but I could watch the "Danger" dance practice over and over because it's mind blowing. I never understood the anger that "War of Hormone" received. To me the lyrics were just describing normal teenage boys being excited about girls..kind of an expected coming of age. I'm sure some of the backlash was due to cultural differences, we become numb to some of the disgusting lyrics that we sometimes hear in western music and that makes these lyrics seem so tame in comparison. RM as a leader, and just as a person in general always amazes me. Because of the age hierarchy in Korean, it can't be easy being a leader to 3 members older than him (kudos to those older members for putting the good of the team before their personal egos). I also think it's amazing how he can be so goofy and "one of the boys" so often and still command respect when necessary...it must be a fine line to walk. I have seen this series a few times and it's so detailed and amazing and I am enjoying watching it again with you.

WOH slander will always make me angry because the song and choreo is so fun. The thing is that BTS still gets a lot of hate from antis on line but the fandom is so huge now that the media doesn't pick up on it as much as they did in the past. Back then antis could say BTS was this or that and say that they stole something and K-media will write about it but ARMYs always had BTS' back. That's why the relationship between BTS and ARMYs are so special because the fan support + BTS' talent kept them going for so long. ARMYs made BTS too huge to ignore. In Korea the Kpop industry isn't that prestigious for college aged and young professionals. Soloists are usually favored as well as people in other genres. Kpop was always seen as music for little girls but BTS really came and changed that perception. I'm not saying they did it all alone because there are Kpop idols like G-DRAGON from Big Bang who are huge celebrities in Korea but the Korean general public has love and respect for BTS like that guy that JK poke's fun at who says rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrap monsta!

Yes Jimin has tattoos. As far as we know Jimin has four tattoos. 1st: Jimin's "Nevermind" tattoo was, at one point, one of the greatest mysteries in the BTS fandom. When Jimin first debuted the ink at BTS' MAMAs stage with Block B in December 2014, fans knew it was fake and just part of the performance concept since the tattoo disappeared from Jimin's torso after the performance. But he actually has the tattoos. You can see it in recent performances and They would spot it again whenever Jimin lifted up his shirt during his "Serendipity" performances. 2nd: a “13” on his wrist, Jimin's favorite number is 13, BTS' debut day was on June 13, 2013, and Jimin's birthday is on Oct. 13, so it's possible the number could represent all three. 3rd&4th: Has “FOREVER YOUNG” elbow tattoos, which was revealed in a VLIVE where Jimin and Jungkook cooked kimbap together. It's a clear reference to one of his favorite BTS tracks and song that he said helped him a lot. What makes the tats even more special is that they appear to be in the same font as his "Nevermind" tattoo.
