He is the most loved overseas player in India. One incidence to prove his popularity is, when their was a match played between South Africa and India in 2015, and he was batting really well and not one person was rooting for India (in India the match was played at Mumbai) and every person was shouting ABD.. and his mother who was present during the match was shocked to see the love he gets in India which he doesn't even get from his own country. That's the level of craziness we Indians have for ABD
