Thanks man, yeah whatever that first chord is on the Nitro Deluxe tune, possibly a Cmaj, try sampling summat with diff sounds, I've been making some nice old skool rave stabs from scratch this way :)
Fantastic mate. Who'd have thought that the Lately Bass patch would have been responsible for 2 absolutely classic sounds?! What were the notes - just a Cmaj?
Used C7 as the root note then its pitched up and down to play the chord. I further edited the sound later on by timestretching it to add grain to the sound, then also added a bitcrusher on the fx cannel to give it more of an old skool vinyl sample feel ;)
Omg sounds f@#in awesome actually, i did try this as my first method of getting the sound as it conused me for years . Did you use a full keyboard multisample of solid bass ? Big up bruvr :)
