Dude. We had a 2002 2500 HD. It had so much power. I believe it had the allison transmission behind it. You couldn't keep the wheels from spinnin on that badboy. I always wanted to swap an 8.1 into a 78 Z28 I had. I think you got a great deal. I can't believe the miles are so low. I hope the swap goes well.
Thank you. The 2002 runs very good. The original owner was retired. He lived in a small town and never traveled real far, but he never washed it either. LOL
