After Jeffiot's scp videos i searched youtube for a channel that would do dramatic readings of other scps and was disappointed to not find any that scratched the itch. My prayers have been answered.
Before I even watch this, I just want you to know Jeff, that I'm so happy that you've decided to do something that makes you happy. I'm so excited for good quality SCP content, and I'm even more excited that some RUclipsr that I love, you, is the one to do it. I wish nothing but the best for you, and I'm here for everyone of these videos.
Would be pretty cool to do an episode on classic scps; the ones that everyong thinks of when they think scp. That, or maybe scps you can [EXPLITIVE REDACTED]
I've tried and failed many times over the years to start reading about SCPs but my ADHD makes reading anything over a few paragraphs extremely difficult. Because of your videos, I'm finally experiencing these stories! The visuals, the narration, the sound effects - it's all dripping with passion, skill, and talent. Thank you both for sharing The SCP Foundation like this : >
You probably won't read this since it's too long for your brain to handle, but man it must suck to be an intellectual/genetic dead-end... At least you have a premade excuse, though! "Oh, I can't do _basic human task_ because I have ADHD 🤓. It's totally this 'disorder' and not my fault at all 🤓."
@@aperson1 FOR REEEAALLL!! I passed a lit class in college thanks to audio books. It was insane how much less time it took compared to reading and how much higher my retenion was
For whatever reason this was the episode that made me think how weird D-class personnel are. Like considering there are more than 7k SCP’s and how blasé they are about human sacrifice and testing, there’s no way they could be adequately staffed. Like globally 2,000 people receive a death sentence a year, and like 1,200 are executed. So even if we assume they’re talking all of them it can’t just be inmates right? Otherwise the numbers just don’t really make sense
SCP is already interesting as is, especially in your videos, but the choice of using SIGNALIS inspired aesthetics and it's OST is just the cherry on top.
If you could do a mega episode to read SCP-1730 I would probably cry, its legit one of my favorites and I love reading it. It'd be great with you guys' spin on it. Just know what you're getting in to because its a long one!
I really like scp-025 even though it does have some hallmarks of an earlier SCP article. I think that the overall concept of the article is so creative and interesting and I'm really glad it was included! It feels like such a fun example of an object/furniture/clothing scp, which I am particularly fond of
I really do enjoy the level of production given to these videos, it's a nice way to get readings of the scp wiki! I'll always enjoy Jeffiot's relaxing tone of speech lol
i love these videos so much i cant wait for yalls channel to get more popular these are such well made amazing videos i just know theres so many people out there that'll fw this so hard U GUYS ARE AWESOME !!!!!
The classifications are about how difficult it is to contain them, not how dangerous they are. Since you have to actively put the clothes on and they don’t do anything without direct interaction from a user, they are easy to contain and therefore considered safe. But yeah, definitely not conventionally safe by standard definitions 😂
I am still absolutely delighted this channel exists. Thank you for these readings - they are amazing and it's always a good day when you upload! Loved Jeff pausing to comment on the older entry there. If I may make one tiny note... as a tinnitus sufferer, the high pitched noise that appears in the background of some of your segments is very hard for me to listen to and I usually need to mute and read along for those parts. ( In this one it starts around 20:08 )
So glad you enjoyed it!! And im sorry to hear that the audio at some parts is hard to list to. I know the specific SFX that is most likely causing this, and I think cutting some of the high end frequencies from it here on my end might help. So in future videos it shouldn't cause problems like that :) Thanks for letting us know
pls more scp readings :) good stuff you do here, also go for the save once some times they might come across as not so catchy but shit is interesting non the less.
Another fantastic video! If you have any interest in SCPs I would personally like to be friends with, SCP-5031 and SCP-6369 are near and dear to my heart.
I already know about 5031. However, I haven't heard of 6369, and it looks... interesting. Just wanna say thank for informing me of the SCP I'm about to watch
I forgot how much I cannot stand watching any SCP reading other then Jeffiot's, so I'm just gonna hope they make a video about 6369 because it looks awesome
i am also commenting to boost the algo, i forgot the name of the channel and forgot about looking through my subscriptions, took bloody ages to find the video
@@JohnKeel96 Yeah, it's just one of those Foundation quirks, lol. "Safe" usually means it's safe to stand next to, so security can be lower. "Euclid" means that the object presents an innate danger, and so needs some additional methods of containment and security clearance; sometimes a Euclid object can't actually be contained (like the infinite IKEA), so the Foundation just makes it nearly impossible for non-personnel to reach the area. "Keter" is the classification for the really dangerous stuff that takes extreme measures to contain and are rarely accessed for testing because of their danger. The kind of thing you lock in a lead cube and sink to the bottom of the ocean to a Foundation facility armed with an on-site nuke, and _then_ have Foundation ships out there keeping a 40-mile perimeter at all times.
In the old SCP files the foundation was so casual about monstrously inhumane treatment of D-class subjects. They aren’t written with a tone that uses this cruelty for dramatic effect, they just simply include it. They won’t describe the absolute horror and despair the D-class subjects must have felt. There is no transcription of the researchers reacting to the horrors they prescribed on the poor bastards. No, instead the whole file glances over any such detail. It goes almost unmentioned. The only reason the reader can gather what D-771 had to go through is because the IDs of test subjects must be recorded. D-771 was forced to shoot a man, but not just in the normal, clinical test environment, where gun is lays waiting on the table when D-771 walks in. No: they were forced to conceal and smuggle the gun with him. Even if he had absolutely no choice in the issue this must have amplified the survivors guilt he felt tenfold, and alienated him from the other D-class. Then, right after, D-771 was forced to wear the shirt of the man he was just forced to shot dead. He probably had some idea what they were studying, seeing the research study the pattern of bullet holes. The same shirt was both rubbing in the horror he was just forced to enact on someone else, and a death sentence. No wonder how he went practically catonic when closed in the room with blinding white lights. It took him six minutes to bleed out. He had time to connect the dots. The blood pouring out of him and the burning pain is located exactly in all the places he shot that man. He had ample time to reflect on all of this: Is this the pain D-771 inflicted on him? He cavet in so they would stop beating him, but he agreed to kill, no: murder a man for extra hour of life, 10% of which he gets to spend bleeding out. Will D-771 go to hell because of this choice?
SCP-500 is both a good example of why they implemented the "no cross testing" rule and also a good example of why cross testing is fun and cool.

Raw dogged this video by only watching Jeff's moustache for 26 minutes and 24 seconds and you can do it too if you have the discipline
oh what an innocent child, please refer to the original channel and watch it for his hours long videos XD
Damn, you should do a collab with this other guy call Jeffiot. He also does SCP videos like these sometimes.
"further testing authorized; results now awaiting declassification" _bruh._
I'm a simple person; I see a new JVSCP, I immediately like it and then watch it.
I'll adopt the procedure for myself
My dress shirt has to be a SCP too because the freaking COLLAR WON'T STAY IRONED AND HAS A MIND OF IT'S OWN.
a small note, but having the audio pan to either side during the explainations of the SCP-494 tests is a very subtle and masterful touch. well done.
Always glad to know people appreciate the little touches
As cool as newer articles are getting nowadays, it’s always nice to read some old ones just to admire the effectiveness of simplicity

I wish you did all the SCP’s mentioned in SCP 500’s testing logs 😂 would’ve been a lot of extras but also would’ve been awesome 💖

There's probably a few... less ethical methods for getting D-Class they use.

Especially 6624 and 7838

I dont think a homicidal wardrobe is that safe
safe just means it has no risk of breaking containment

Very excited to see this channel starting up and (hopefully) going strong!
I'd love to see a list of SCPs that might not exist, like they're just in some researcher's head or otherwise not actually part of reality. :D
I'm really loving these! Your narration style mixed with this awesome editing style really hits the spot for SCP articles. Thanks for sharing :)
Deploying MTF Omicron-7 ("Lycan Subscribe") to enact Protocol Algorithm Boosters.
SCP JV-420: a youtube subscription button that induces lycanthropy in any individual who "smashes that like and subscribe button"
First one should be Keter, because it seems to be impossible to contain
I suggest the entire Mr. Series of Dr. Wondertainment
