The first one is one of my favorite types of SCPs, that being "SCPs where the foundation tragically misunderstands what's going on." They can be hard to follow sometimes, but when you wrap your head around them, they can be so interesting/horrifying.
I think I sorta missed it, what I got is that the area mixes up objects meaning, so like a wallet appears like a washing machine, you can still percieve the wallet but when you speak you think ''washing machine''
@@franciscol3510 Kind of? It's more like you see something that you believe to be a washing machine, but when you try to use it, it doesn't do anything that you would expect a washing machine to do. You bring in technicians; they can't fix the machine, but they find cash, ID cards, and expired coupons in it. You all deduce that these items fell out of someone's pocket when the machine was last used. Funny how everything is dry and undamaged though. Anyway, 1539-02 is a man who died because everyone perceived him as a washing machine and treated him accordingly.
I really like the representation of the things being misidentified as other things as outlines on a screen. It's really clever, makes it all the more spooky. The graphics are great in general. It's so much more than a reading of the story. And dishing of reading, Jeffiot is doing a great job of it! He has the right accent and cadence to pull off "SCP scientist", and his other voices are fun, too! The only suggestion that comes to mind is the infinite IKEA...
SCP-2191 is one of my favs, it’s part of a wider “series” of articles about the Sarkic people and they’re all super weird body horror Ophite is one of the all time best authors on the wiki, good choice
This is great and I could listen to Jeff read SCP entries all day. Though I have to say I'm missing some of the personality/discussion that occurs around them like in videos on the Jeffiot channel. Though obviously that takes more work and is outside of the scope of the channel, and the effects you use here are nice.
this was honsetly what i expeted the channel to be, and while this is also great i would really love it if jeff did this. Also because it would provide somethign very unique other scp reading channels dont do too much. if he just gave a short review of the piece and his opinion that would already add a lot, not like he needs to do a full literary analysis or smth
i really enjoy these curated samplings of scps. i like how they skew towards the weird than the bombastic - not that there's anything wrong with the high-danger high-spectacle ones, i just have other recommendation sources for them already, haha. i'm a fast reader, but your reading pace hits the spot where it's not rushed but also doesn't make me impatient. now i can eat or crochet while 'reading' scps, and that means i can finally catch up with cool ones i've missed :) i do have one suggestion: could you consider not making the text as small and distorted as you do for the instance descriptions? the editing and visuals are gorgeous, and most of the time the text you have on screen is enough for someone who needs subtitles on everything (me), but the size and the old-screen-effect really fuck with my shit eyesight, especially on smaller screens. in any case! glad i found your channel(s), thank you for making great vids!
I'm fascinated by these SCPs that lead you down a little rabbit hole, I'd love a video like that. like in that last one they mention, I believe SCP-2668, with the suggestion being that this man was shot over his involvement in it. It would be interesting to see a few that are related to each other in some way.
ue-941712 - A sphere 5 meters in radius. All humans who are caught in the sphere spontaneously vocalize, in English, "boy, I wish I had a nice cold Pepsi right now" regardless of native language or knowledge of the Pepsi brand. is my favorite location in the scp universe
i enjoy this alot, but what I would really love from this channel is if you not just read the articles but also talked about them a bit, talk about what worked for you, what didnt, if you enjoyed them and why etc. not only would it be nice to get a bit more of your "personality" as another commenter has said, in my opinion it would also offer something much more unique with this channel than other scp reading channels do not really do also as an scp author myself, i just know that any author would be chomping at the bit at some analysis or even just reviewing of their work, especially if the article is less well known
for another location SCP video, maybe the ones based on theme parks/carnivals? and there's probably a few that're some form of transportation hub as well, like the spider buses.
you should try food related SCP, there's this scp called SCP 3250, basically its the original KFC original recipe where if one consumed, there is a chance you will see anything christianity related turned into colonel sanders
Love the content. I couldn't follow what happened with the first one because of the excessive formality talk it had. I was just hearing numbers after numbers after ∆∆∆. I know that SCP was written that way, but still... I'm really curious how did you make the color effect all over the screen.
Perhaps at some point, but to be able to post on this channel somewhat frequently, without taking too much time from my main channel, we've decided to keep it simple and to just contain the readings.
@@HuffleRyan that would require an extra 2 minutes or so to edit those little insights in; maybe with your support and a donation of a few easy installments of however much we bill you. I assure you in such cases; we can definetely, think about making sure you get your little pedestrian blurbs

The signalis references are just straight up weird at this point. Like I love that game, but does it have anything to do with this video?? why are we saying "achtung" before a switch.
I don't want to be an asshole, but I have to ask whether it's okay to be using what sounds like SFX and OST from Signalis? These videos aren't engaging with Signalis, so how does fair use work in that case? If I'm wrong about their origins, then I'm sorry and please ignore this comment. But if they are sourced from Signalis, shouldn't the creators be credited? I wouldn't give half a shit if it were a game from a huge studio, but Signalis is an emotionally devastating piece of indy art perfection, so I felt I needed to ask. Love your content. Sorry for being a bother.

i like what you guys are doing, but i cant help but feel you are leaning a little too hard on the signalis aesthetics when it comes to the editing. it comes off a lot more like ripping off the look rather than an homage or something like that. i hope you two end up forming more of your own unique style in the future :)
