Sorry but as a muslim let me tell you he is very wrong, first "dreams from god" as he calls them are actually called visions and they are not always good, they can be warnings and scary but not the kind of scary that you jump from your bed or wake up sweating those are nighmares. Now dreams are just your imagination which is true and nightmares are mostly just your body feeling uncomfortable while you're sleeping, like eating too much before going to bed or sleeping on your back, rarely are they from jinns (when they are you'll know because you see things that you couldn't have imagined yourself, like jesus or muhammed doing bad things or straight up seeing a devil). Now about the visions they are generally very symbolic, we have books that explain what each thing represents and it also depends very much on the individual and the circumstances, an example of a vision is "I saw a snake on a tree and he bit me but someone came and started sucking the poison out of my hand" the snake represents a bad person, the tree represents the family so this person is related to the one that had the vision since the snake was on the tree and the person sucking the poison out is a protector, so in summary the vision warns the person about someone dangerous close to them so they take precaution but reasures them that they someone will come and heals them afterwards, visions are VERY symbolic and always carry a message and also "once the vision is explained to the one that saw it, it will happen" you can't prevent it once someone has TRUTHFULLY explained it you, that's why bad visions you keep to yourself. Anyway He said a lot of wrong things don't always believe what you hear online even from those that speak in the name of a religion, this muslim dude is a western person and they're generally not as knowledgable when it comes to these things, they are more goal oriented which is good honestly.

The prophet (PBUH) advised him and his companions and he advised him with kindness, why are you projecting as if the Prophet (PBUH) neglected his worries about his dream? and the prophet (PBUH) didn't laugh at him, he said the satan laughs at anyone who believes such dream
