Funnily enough, airup is a german company. I’m surprised they didn’t use that as a segway. Also, I'm from Germany and watch gmm at lunch time everyday. Today I happen to be dipping my fries in curry ketchup while watching.
I was thinking the same way haha. I'm from the Netherlands and Air Up is already super popular over here. And indeed, because of the time difference it is more Good Mythical Afternoon here 😅
I don't mind if Rhett & Link & Crew don't see this message, at last I'm sending it - Rhett & Link, you have absolutely no idea how much you help us with your videos. We are real people watching your show, and some of us also have real-people problems, but when ever something isn't right in my little world, I trust to get on RUclips and look at your familiar faces. Link tastes his food. Rhett TASTES his food. The way he had half of that red been strudel down while Link was still nibbling the corner is classic GMM.
Curryketchup isn't really used for Currywurst. For that a special sauce is prepared and it's poured over it warm. But for cheat currywurst at home you could use it.
A lot of more simple made currywurst sauces use curry ketchup as a base, but more elaborate ones can become a wholly unique recipe. A fun part of discovering new food stalls is how their flavor of currywurst sauce compares to your favorites.
And it depends on where in Germany you eat your currywurst. Berlin currywurst sauce has a base of tomato ketchup, whereas currywurst sauce in Hamburg and western Germany has a base of curry ketchup. But generally speaking: most snack bars have their own recipes.
Trevor: "There is some history behind it, but I don't know it" Me: "Josh would've known it" I really do miss when Josh did these because he ALWAYS knew crazy trivia about the dishes he made and always taught me something new.
As a geman I like this theme, but the furtune pumpernickel-coockie is NOTHING like pumpernickel, which is a dark, dense bread from rye grains not rye flour.
It always makes my day when i come home from a heavy day at work and i see a new GMM video. I hope you guys realise how much comfort, satisfaction and peace you give to so many of us! ❤
Strudel is most often associated with Austrian cuisine. Often mistaken for being of German origin, the oldest known strudel recipe dates back to 1697 and survives today in a handwritten cookbook in the Vienna Town Hall Library. 🤓
I always appreciate the amount of much effort that goes into these types of videos with food from other countries, getting as close as possible to the countries real thing.
A day will come when this show ends, and that will be a sad day for sure. This show feels like an escape from reality, and im so glad i discovered yall years ago.
Strudel def. more Austrian and Schnitzel you can find all over the place (Austrian if it's specific made with calf meat+lard, but no one can really say who made the first so who cares).
Schnitzel is as German as Austrian. Only the dish "Wiener Schnitzel" is Austrian. Other dishes like "Jägerschnitzel" are German. And btw it's assumend the Schnitzel itself has it's origin in Italy.
Rhett is right though, blutwurst/blood sausage (or blodpølse, as we call in Denmark, where we also eat it) is usually served during the Christmas season.
Link- sometimes I don't like good things.
Trevor- That's ok.

Bringing back the ‘take a dumpling on us’ from the will it dumpling episode! Oh gosh I remember that 😂
Watching that segment while on the pot was a highlight of my morning 😂
Right🤣
I love that Trevor is cooking more for the show!
i think its cause Josh is heading up the Mythical Kitchen channel, so he cant do the extra GMM stuff
For sure! He used to mainly just do his normal baking stuff, but it is awesome to see him get to try making other dishes now too.

I guess if they do it now it will only be for Monday and Tuesday's episodes ): So short.
The Mythical chefs are so creative.
The fortune cookies slayed me 😂
"General demeanor" 😂
“Sometimes I don’t like good things.” Understatement of the century, there, Link.
I know, imagine having preferences and unique taste buds😮😮
What I'm learning here is Trevor is super talented at making confusing ingredients taste amazing
Just from the looks the sweet and sour soup looks like "szegediner gulasch" which is a hungary spicy sauerkraut soup.
So you're telling me a German fried this rice?
Classic 😂
😂
Ja
i lowkey wish trevor was at the desk while they tried these. seeing his expressions would make it so fun!

Omg I literally said the same thing aloud
How was "fried pork vs blood rice" round even fair 😭😭
This is an underrated comment
I got so viscerally mad at Link for slicing through that dumpling. 😅
5:35 Nice throwback to the Will It Dumpling episode where they came up with a restaurant titled, Take a Dumpling, On Us!
I love when Trev is the cook for these. He does such a good job

Rye grains are difficult to find in the us. I have to special order mine online. Maybe he couldn’t get them?

Pumpernickel is sourdough made with rye flour. That's why I love it so much...my two favorite breads.
It's not. It's whole grains of Rye.
Good Mythical Morning, the only work place where "we are like a family here" isnt a red flag.

Problem with those air up things, is they're way more expensive than just buying flavored water lol

1. General Tso's Bratwurst
2. Sichuan Beer Cheese Soup
3. Congee Fried Schnitzel
4. Red Bean Strudel
