On top of that, it conveys the troubling feelings of a 17 year old, surrounded by events that force them to mature too fast. I felt for the character, and while the writing (at least her character's) has been consistently good, it was her acting that sold me on the show. From the way she portrays internal conflict, and the way she interacts with other characters (especially her fellow actors Hunter Schafer (Jules) and Angus Cloud (Fez), to the gut-wrenching last scene (which is, in part, why they submitted this episode), prove that she deserved this Emmy, among tons of snubbed actors and unworthy winners throughout the years.

It's such an impactful show, as a survivor of overdose and someone clinically diagnosed with bipolar disorder, the portrayal of this issue is accurate and representative of the challenge. Zendaya truly surprised me with her acting prowess, she was remarkable. Thank you for this story. As much as I love Jodie and Sandra in the Killing Eve, Zendaya deserved this more. Truly, a moving performance that portrayed something so painful and harrowing in the human experience.

Fun fact: Everyone who participated in the Emmys, there was somebody standing outside of everyone's home, I believe, with a hazmat suit and an Emmy. And if you win, you got to keep the Emmy, and if you did not, they took it. It's like watching an actual sister win! She's the same age as me and I've literally have grown up beside her to watch her win such an astounding award is amazing! She is in a business that is harsh and demoralizing and dangerous, but she remains graceful, eloquant and an inspiration to everyone! I am literally so proud!

Fun fact: Everyone who participated in the Emmys, there was somebody standing outside of everyone's home, I believe, with a hazmat suit and an Emmy. And if you win, you got to keep the Emmy, and if you did not, they took it. So there was a lovely young woman outside of my house with a hazmat suit, and Darnell, who is like my brother and my assistant, when he heard the news, he grabbed it and ran in with it. So that's how it got there so fast.

I saw this live last night and had to watch it again. I was so excited ( and surprisingly a little emotional) for Zendaya. Her performance on Euphoria was simply amazing. How can you not love this young lady? Talented, intelligent, humble, stunningly beautiful, and apparently a helluva an actress...the sky is the limit with this force of nature.
She’s really a blessing to us I’m happy we have someone like her in this world.
