I listen to metal and punk for the most part, I find most pop to be super vapid (granted metal and punk can be the same way) but swift is different, her songwriting and lyrics are straight from the heart and it's no wonder they resonate with so many

Taylor Swift apparently has dozens of songs that never became mainstream hits… and are only known to her fans.
Yes... But her fan base is *so* massive that "only known to her fans" still means an absolutely *huge* number of people. Like there's been no. 1 chart hits that fewer people have heard & remember than those less familiar deep cuts from Taylor's discography that are "only known to her fans".
I highly recommend the podcast “Every Single Album” by The Ringer. They discuss each of Taylor’s albums, one per episode. I have learned so much, and it’s quite entertaining. I appreciate her even more as a songwriter and how much she has evolved on the whole.

Well... every single person that has albums out is the same, don't you think? Random people will know the singles the artists send to the radio, make music videos for tv and internet channels, and will perform on tv shows. That's the songs they use to promote the album. Then if your a fan, you gonna buy or stream the album and get to listen to those songs the regular person who just have contact with the singles won't know. Like. That's how selling pop music happens. everybody has dozens of songs that never became mainstream hits and I my the fans know.

Please watch closely from beginning to end because she is so defeated but when she sing “I think I am finally clean” and looks out, it’s like she wants everybody to know that she really is okay now and very happy. That shy smile but in her eyes is just so much joy. I love her songs because she explains the emotion ... “the clouds rolled in like a perfect storm”.... here comes depression, tears, question... but it is so lyrical the other way. This song has help me through the hardest time in my depression and when it was getting easier for me I realize that’s this was the feel I felt. It felt like rain coming down and everything had disappeared and I was myself, I felt clean for the first time in years. And that’s the feeling get listening to it.

Good for u for getting out of a horrible relationship, it took me years to realize I wasn't a piece of junk and i would no longer allow ANYONE to abuse me physically, mentally and sexually. Dont get me wrong, it took years of counselling and I'm still working on myself every single day and im sure i will continue for the rest of my life, but at least now I know what I want in life and for now I'm happy being single and a mama to my boys (14 and 4) Remind ursellf every single day that you are enough, and ure b3autiful inside and out and don't never settle for less. Many women/men stay in these toxic relationships because of comfort/being familiar, they don't think they can make it alone, and maybe that no one will ever want them again.... All of those things are rubbish!! We all need to support each other and help others be aware that there is light at the end of the tunnel and its way more beautiful and peaceful than any of us imagined before we broke out of these toxic relationships.
