yesterday I had my first I258 from my 2 year old tree. Weight around 50g I can already tell from its taste its a high quality fig even for a 2 year old tree in ground tree. Totally agreed with your opinion in this vid. Keep it up!

How did you manage to get the Italian 258 into Israel?
Do you think you will have cuttings available for sale of the I258 this winter?
How does I258 compare to the local varieties like Sbayi in your opinion?
    Excellent video as always!

      Hello!
Local varieties of figs have been adapted to the region for centuries. New varieties need to go through their journey in several years to make comparisons and conclusions. Sbayi is a very good variety, its taste has a slight sourness, which I, for example, really like.. As for winter cuttings - I can't make plans in our crazy times, alas..
      Sincerely,
      Figs in Israel.
