It could be Roxo de Valinos
Beautiful I hope my Italian 258 on my grafted tree will taste as good. Phoenix Arizona
Thank you! I hope it will be wonderful! Respectfully, Figs in Israel
yesterday I had my first I258 from my 2 year old tree. Weight around 50g I can already tell from its taste its a high quality fig even for a 2 year old tree in ground tree. Totally agreed with your opinion in this vid. Keep it up!
Thank you, and good harvests to you! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
I love the straw berry fig . I have a similar one and have made clones . Planted the said clones in several locations on Southern Vancouver Island . Thank you kindly again for sharing . Cheers
Thank you! Your comments always give me encouragement! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Excellent video and a great variety. Good job growing it so well.
Thank you! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
How did you manage to get the Italian 258 into Israel? Do you think you will have cuttings available for sale of the I258 this winter? How does I258 compare to the local varieties like Sbayi in your opinion? Excellent video as always!
Hello! Local varieties of figs have been adapted to the region for centuries. New varieties need to go through their journey in several years to make comparisons and conclusions. Sbayi is a very good variety, its taste has a slight sourness, which I, for example, really like.. As for winter cuttings - I can't make plans in our crazy times, alas.. Sincerely, Figs in Israel.
Yes! Awesome tree and good looking fruit
Thank you! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Damn that is 2 years old … 😮 looks good 👍🏼
Yes, this is a vigorous growing variety. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
That’s not in my collection yet! But it’s definitely going to be next year , I’m in zone 6b in New England hopefully it will be an early producer ! Thanks for sharing amigo!
Thank you, and good luck with your fig growing! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Thank you for the great video content . I am eating many figs . Cheers

Did you steal the land from Palestinians?
Hi, thanks for this video. I live in Holland. And I want to chip-bud graft on een branche that is two of three times thicker than my branches where I take the buds from. Is this possible? And can I do it now in summer in Holland?
Hello! It is better to do this in the spring, of course, then the percentage of successful grafts is higher. But you can try. The temperature in Holland is now about 26 degrees Celsius during the day. Therefore, it is better to do this in the evening in cloudy weather. You need to do it quickly, the chip should not dry out. Good luck! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
I recieved this cutting of yours over a year ago and tried my first Brazilian fig today. Tree is waist height. Looking forward to harvest larger crops in the next years. North - Los Angeles, California.
Hello! Brazilian figs in the second year already give quite a decent harvest under good conditions. So good luck! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
I really like he outside color of the fig, and caramel taste profile you described. My trees are loaded with figs her in S. Cal 10b, but nothing is ripe yet. My peaches have come and gone (Florida Prince and Eva's Pride, and my persimmons won't be ready until late October. But so far, no ripe figs. Thanks for the video
Wow and yes thats ripe . Good description you show in the video . Thank you kindly
Thank you! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Fantastic video content ! . I am eating figs as well now . Taste so good . Cheers to fig growing .
Thank you and good harvests to you! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
So this Khurtmani is of the common type of fig not required to be pollinated by the fig wasps or not? I would like to grow it here if I can as I don’t have the wasps.
Hello! Yes, Khurtmani is a common fig that does not require pollination by the blastophaga wasp. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
@@figsinisrael1043 thank you so now I have to find someone who is growing it here in the states. God bless you and your family.

Sir I wonder if I could trouble you for some information regarding fig tree sap. Do you have any information or experience using fig tree sap as a vegetable rennet. Many thanks
@@Alexander-uj5pb Hello! I have heard that fig tree sap is sometimes used in making cheeses, but I have no such experience myself. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
@@figsinisrael1043 many thanks to you. 👍👍
Great video! Random question, but is the black fig fly present in Israel? If so, how do you deal with them laying eggs in the figs?
Hello! Yes, it appeared in my region recently. I do not use pesticides on figs, so only a protective mesh in combination with traps gives a guaranteed result. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
@@figsinisrael1043 okay thank you! I will be moving to Southern California soon which is infested with the fly there. I will be using your method to combat it. Thank you and stay safe in the Holy Land🙏🏾!
@@Stangy04 Thank you very much, and good luck with your projects! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Do you find this encouraging the roots to grow deep instead of spreading out shallow?
Hello! I have not yet dug up figs planted in this way, and I cannot say with accuracy about the distribution of fig roots in different depth horizons. But it is obvious that supplying water from above and below gives a better chance for uniform absorption of moisture by the roots. In addition, this reduces the risk of roots searching for water in sewer pipes laid deep in the area, penetrating them and clogging them. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Any figs for sale?
Soorry, no.. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Why do you do this method ? what will be the out come ?
Hello! This method allows you to stimulate the growth of side branches without pruning. The result is shown in the following video: ruclips.net/video/K6XKWo8vlac/видео.html Best regards, Figs in Israel
What may be dimension of Brazalian fig tree after full maturity?

Just like to know you can cook tea with row leaves?? Because. We don't have the dryer
Hello! Probably the last step - drying - can be done without a dehydrator. Some people probably do it in the shade outside. But I only have the experience that I talk about in my video. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Where are they located in Northern Israel? Is it like an orchard can people visit?
Hello! This garden is located in the countryside around the city of Binyamina. Unfortunately, I cannot say whether there is public access there now. Sincerely, Figs in Israel

Uffff, necesito unos esquejes de esa variedad...
👍
Hello, have you heard of a fig called Israeli Black that is being sold in the US? I wonder if their is a local Israeli name for this variety.... it supposedly came from a Dr. Gowati farm.
Hello! Unfortunately, I don’t know what kind of fig we are talking about. In Israel, at the household level and in markets, figs are divided into 2 groups: black and white. In fact, there are many different varieties that fall into both of these groups. Sincerely, Figs in Israel.
I am in US and I find this video very helpful. Thank you. Happy Growing.

Thank you for the nice video, the fruit is very yummy.

Where can I find the netting that you use?

@@figsinisrael1043 תודה רבה. אני גר בהרצות הברית.
@@pibblesnbits Ok!)) In Israel, this mesh is supplied in a 6-meter wide fabric and a length - at the request of the customer. Your US distributors may offer other sizes. This is not so important, because the panels can be easily connected using a stationery stapler. It is important to choose the correct mesh size - 17 mesh. Other sizes (25 mesh, 50 mesh) have a smaller cell and worse ventilation and light transmission. Sincerely, Figs in Israel
Good info and thank for sharing . Cheers
Hi and we have many black berries here and i love the new shoots in stir fry and salad . Very cool to see them in a pot . Black berries can change sweetness and flavor depending on locations . Some birds like owls will protect your berries as they will consume up to 1000 mice per year i have been told . So i put owl house in the trees . Hawks will thin out the birds and scare them away . Perhaps a hawks nest in the neighborhood . Long ribbon here and there will keep the birds afraid of being there as the movement scares them . My very best to you and yours . Howie
Hello! Thanks for the lice tips, I’ll definitely try your methods of protecting against birds! Sincerely, Figs in Israel
