I just started following you Quinton after watching you and Casey LaDelle work together. I didn't think I would keep watching after going back to your first video but I watched this video next and can see a HUGE difference from when you started out. Keep up the Great work and keep the video's coming and I hope to see you and Casey working together again soon👍👍👍👍
Lots of great advice from crane/rigging guys here. I do the crane/rigging thing too. Definitely get gloves. A hard hat wouldn’t hurt. I cringed when that shackle swung loose towards your head. And take the time to put a tag line on your lifted item. Try and keep your lifting slings and chokers as close to vertical as possible. The more of an angle on your sling, the lower the capacity. That first pick could have used a spreader bar. Stay safe! Life is short.
It made my hands hurt watching you pulling on those cables. Back when I was still driving log truck I was putting my wrappers on and had one hang up, so I flipped it and gave it a good pull just like I had done many times before. The difference was, for some reason this time I didn't put my gloves on, and when I pulled my hand slipped on the cable and there were a couple frayed strands, and it looked like someone took a knife and sliced my hand a few times. I didn't forget my gloves again after that.
Wow! That was insane. What do each of those dozees weigh? Amazing video. I just found the channel and subscribed. Thank you very much for producing these videos. I've watched just two of them now and learned so much. Thank you for sharing. 😊
I love your FB videos. I grew up in Madras (graduated HS in 1969) and back then Prineville was a major shit kicking town and was not considered to be a safe place to visit unless you wanted to get your ass kicked. No idea what is like now. Maybe you can provide some information here! lol
Where I work around moving indeed belts and rollers gloves will get your hand smashed or dismembered flavors definitely protect but at times cam cause hands to get sucked in
Yeah you’re right you should have had on gloves, if I were the safety coordinator out there, I would not let you touch the cable until you had gloves on, or I would have gotten you a pair, good hussle though

That was a bit unnerving to watch. I'm glad nobody got hurt -- or tore their hands on cable. Thank you!

Good to see someone bring in some D7R parts machines.
There is good reason why they are scrap...
@Failure_Is_An_Option not always. Some get tired, some catch fire or customer wants a new machine to replace it.

Yup... everybody should wear a grey matter retention bucket. Makes cleanup easier when returning the product to their next of kin.
