Just give in and accept it Brian, that dog has chosen you. Time to give it its forever home. It's clear to all of us that you're meant to be together ❤️
That is a beautiful little town. Just think. If you brought that little pup with you, the two of you could sit outside together and enjoy the beautiful morning.
Of course the sweet puppy driving the van is a star attraction. I hope you have adopted it. She seems to love snuggling with you. Thanks for the Cafe stops and views of the villages.
Brian, it's time to own up, we all know you want to keep the puppy. A man cuddling a puppy is adorable, it shows your soft side. Have a good weekend Brian. Cheers from England
Hahaha. You're teaching the puppy how to drive the car. Awesome. Beautiful video. One of the Best so far. And don't forget the present for Nick. Cheers.
Having just returned to live in Ireland after 40 years in London, I notice loads of coffee shops and bistros and people sitting outside, very continental these days compared to years ago.
I love when two different RUclipsrs are filming at the same place. You get to see two different perspectives of the same job being done. And yes, you are a RUclipsr now Brian.😀😃😄 can’t wait to see Ireland through your eyes in October.
So I think you have found heaven if you have a puppy, a good book to read and coffee! ❤️ Nick definitely deserves that whisky, even for no reason at all. So I got to the end and thought "well, if a man can scratch his bum and leave it in the video I don't see how you can be nervous about having viewers!" 😂
Over 50, deconstructed a porch, moved steps, and replaced skirting = lower back out. I could barely get around for days, still tender but able to move now, another porch to deconstruct next week. The life of a single woman 😊 got to get it done before snow flies and shoveling begins 😂
So sorry to read about your back Angela and hope and pray you will be fully recovered soon. It's a challenge managing the big outdoor jobs...I 'm 66 and doing everything myself past 5 years so I get it. The mind is willing but the body can't always cope. Hugs Helen, East Gippsland, Australia
I’m almost 70 ☺️ Wait till you get my age. You’ll pull a muscle just getting out of bed 😁👍 I have pain issues so I didn’t put two together that you worked on “THE” chateau!!! With the best buddies in the world!!! I only saw one previously! Love the countryside and love artwork so always looking for good videos. Yours are definitely the right ones! ☀️ Welcome to my group of friends I watch every day/week. I had two border collies. My loves! The best dogs to have! Smart! Have a great week. You’ll get positive energy from all these people that care about you and Dan and all. You are making history. My family was originally from Sligo on my Dad’s side. One new follower (from Iowa-long story, Dad army so lived in England, Georgia, Missouri, Virginia, California and so many other places).
Le chien a trouvé un papa ❤ beaucoup de tendresse dans ce vlog . 👍🏻 Un petit café ? un " petit noir " dit on ici. ☕ avec une tartine de beurre ou un croissant 👍🏻😜
Oh yes, regarding daily coffee (and quality) Ireland changed a lot! When I moved from Munich to West Cork in May 2000 there was noooo coffee/cappucino around here. Just some water-ish brown instant granules stuff with spray cream, yuk. Nowadays you can grab 10 different brands of coffee just walking a few steps. Many little artisan roasters all over the country too. Unfortunately this brought literally tons of unnecessary waste: all those single use cups (lined with the highly toxic "eternity chemicals") plus plastic lids. Yet now even here in Bantry you find some places where you can have your own cup filled.
I think that puppy is in his best friend's arms! Thanks for the look into your life, I think that you have much to be thankful for. You're learning about physical issues and seem to appreciate what you can do still. I'm 70 now, a little old lady in Texas. I'm still thankful to be able to get around with a cane.
BRIAN. LOVE UR *PUPPY DADDYING* THAT PUP. SURE LOVES U TOO@! HOPE UR NECK AND BACK RECOVERS SOON. COFFEE IS GREAT!!. WE ALL NEED A *JUMPSTART* IN AM. ENJOY!!🎉
I'm from the Netherlands and we have a terrace culture here. As soon as there is a ray of sunshine all the squares are filled with tables and chairs. I went to Dublin for a couple of days about 20 years ago and found one place to sit outside. It was really astonishing to me, the most beautiful weather you can imagine and no one was sitting outside. P.S. puppy love is the best!
You're the wittiest, most charming person on RUclips, Brian. With all your travels, your many skills, and your wonderful-witty sense of humor, have you considered writing your memoirs? "The Life of Brian....So Far". I'm sure it would make a fascinating read and would fly off the bookshelves!
There's definitely more of a cafe culture in Ireland now. Plenty of places with seats outside and plenty of independent shops doing really delicious coffee. The problem might be that it'll be October 😂 Although on saying that it may well still be warm enough; July called yesterday wanting its weather back. It was sooo warm and sunny
Enjoyed watching a different perspective of your work on the Chateau. It's such hard work. The progress has been amazing to watch. The older I get, I like the comfort a good cup of coffee can give. Like a hot mocha coffee in the afternoon. Looking forward to seeing what the attic antique store will have. Enjoy and thanks again!
You’re such a casual man. Dan called you a “manly man” on his Friday post. 😄 That was the way to do the weekly vlog, short little videos of the day-to-day life livin and workin in the French countryside. The puppies first driving lesson was very cute, would’t it be wonderful to have a puppie that never ages past 6-7 months old. My mom was from Liverpool, and she still loved her tea, but a cup of coffee was her go to when my 2 brothers and I were younger, she did eventually switch back to tea in her 60’s. Great progress all around on the chateau, creating ideas and plans, and of course the demolition, for the next evolution of the building. I hope you have a Sunday date night, we need to do that once in a while even though you still want to live alone, it makes that part of life so much more enjoyable. 😊 I know from my own experience after one long failed marriage. 🫤
Great vlog! How many of you went back 10’seconds to watch bum scratch? I laughed so much, thank you for the real life vlogging, great sense of humour. Cheers!
Back in Ireland last weekend - blue skies, high 20s, coffee outdoors, castle visit, fabulous sunsets - perfect weather for harvesting the turf 😅Hope the sun shines on your visit!! Congrats on the new tyres and successful puppy driving lesson 🐕
Hi Brian it was nice that you stopped to say hello the other day by the chaumont memorial stone. Your weekly videos are great, look forward to seeing next weeks. Roger, Anne, Bailey and Jess.
Thanks to you Brian, you have brightend up my so long miserable saturday afternoon! ..things went wrong, people went crazy... now I' m balanced again 🎉
As soneone appraoching 40 myself, i knew those first two options were just off the table immediately and it would be something absolutely mundane that caused a shoulder injury. Aging isnt for the weak! Loved the vlog, especially all the puppy cameo's. Looking gorward to hearing about this "hot date" although I feel like there may have been a hint of a joke in there and it will be someone to make us laugh.
Well that answered my question, I saw a black dog and wondered if it was puppy daddy. Gorgeous snuggly puppy and she could drive you home if you were tired or something. Love Nick❤❤👏👏👌👌🤣🤣
My son aged 14 split his head open on a low beam as he was enthusiastically ushering a wasp out of his room. It’s not just people in their 40’s that get wasp related injuries.
I think that little puppy has got your name on it. Great work you three have been doing on the chateau you work so well together thanks for taking us for a coffee. Tyler's look good
That puppy loves you and I think you love that puppy. Hard work yes but think of the unconditional love and companionship. Thank you for all your hard work putting these vlogs out they are enjoyable. Take care and no more wasp swatting🐝
enjoy the videos. scenery and a slice of life. Puppy steals the screen. He's definitely picked you as his bestie. bet he would like to go camping. sometimes they choose you!
Wanted to share that I had a girl's weekend camping and we did a 6 mile kayak trip down a river here I'n MO, USA. The black river. We had a blast !! Ugg!! Now back to work Monday morning. 😢
I suspect it is now becoming clear that the puppy dad was likely a back Labrador, so I guess, as mum is a collie the pups are Labra-cols. Most Labradors are gentle giants, whilst Collies are very smart, and intelligent so what you probably have there is an intelligent dog who will also be pretty gentle and easy going. Who wouldn't love such a pet? If you really can't adopt it full-time, then some sort of on-off fostering or longterm shared care arrangement with Dan seems like it might be an idea.
Just give in and accept it Brian, that dog has chosen you. Time to give it its forever home. It's clear to all of us that you're meant to be together ❤️

You need a puppy a companion to camp with
Brian and the puppy..anyone else going "oooooooooh"
..... "ahhhhhh" ❤❤❤❤❤
A truck-driving puppy! Who doesn't love that?
I was waiting for the beret and cig in his mouth.
He has GOT to stop distracting that poor puppy when he's trying to drive! 😜
haha
Love the truck driving puppy 🐶 😍😍😍😍😍
Brian, it's time to own up, we all know you want to keep the puppy. A man cuddling a puppy is adorable, it shows your soft side.
Have a good weekend Brian.
Cheers from England
That pup driving Pascal seems to be the only one still at the chateau and we know you love it. Fess up, Brian! The pup and you are bonded!
❤🧡💛💚💙💜
That's for sure!@ hey Brian. U can take doggy almost anywhere. They r portable...they even fly too@! Or u get a babysitter!@
@@boessheila50 Ah, yes, portable doggy hugs! In France you can even bring your doggy in the restaurant. :)
Sir that puppy has claimed you. You two are now best friends for ever & ever. 😊
Brian, you and that puppy are made for each other. She has chosen you. Resistance is futile.
The Resistance expression is perfect for Brian and the pup. Thanks for the chuckle. :)
Puppy seems to love you. High recommendation indeed.
👍🏾 love it Brian. Giving us this perspective of your life and a bit more of the Chateau. Truly complementary with Dan’s videos. ❤❤
Precisely what I was thinking. Very complimentary and always interesting seeing that part of France.
Brian is the puppy whisperer 🐶 ☕️ 🚜
Glad your looking after Nic,he's,a legend!
watching how your are with that puppy confirms you are kind, gentle man. Thanks for posting
Brian you and the gorgeous wee pop are meant for each other! 💖
Hahaha. You're teaching the puppy how to drive the car. Awesome. Beautiful video. One of the Best so far. And don't forget the present for Nick. Cheers.
You need that puppy Brian. And that puppy needs you!
What more do we.need.....handsome man, and a puppy. All my dreams at once x 😃❤💕
She’s a very good driver. And snuggler!
Love that puppers 🐶😀
Made me laugh when you scratched your bum then realised what you'd done 😊. Those dogs are gorgeous. Enjoy your weekend
Having just returned to live in Ireland after 40 years in London, I notice loads of coffee shops and bistros and people sitting outside, very continental these days compared to years ago.
Yeah, thanks to Covid.

Great vlog! Love the site-seeing, puppy chauffeur and you realising you’re scratching your bum. (We don’t mind)
Hillarious ,the little waggy baby loves you, sooooo much bless❤❤❤
Ahhhh... the French perfected cafe culture. 😃
We loved the puppy driving and the puppy cuddles. So cute❤

It's quite an honor to be with you through your day! You are an amazing lad. Thank you!
When you say you "need puppy" time, you are addicted. Take the puppy home, you will be forever happy.
thank you for being an idiosyncratic Irishman in France. Always a pleasure to end my day with you.
Love the ending! 😂😂😂 Please don’t let us bother you! 😜🤣😘
😂😂😂
Chuckled out loud at the mention of "scratched my bum" ! ... but you you did keep it in so it must have made you laugh too 😄
You always put a smile on this old lady's face Brian! You are a natural with vlogs!
Le chien a trouvé un papa ❤ beaucoup de tendresse dans ce vlog . 👍🏻 Un petit café ? un " petit noir " dit on ici. ☕ avec une tartine de beurre ou un croissant 👍🏻😜
You are a charmer!
We all scratch our bum, Brian.
Thanks for sharing! 😅

Great vlog Brian. Rural France is beautiful!
How Brian would have the energy to even think of a daily blog is mind blowing. He goes like he's 29! Must be all that coffee.
Another fantastic vlog! That blue 💙 hat with the stars 🌟 suits you Brian
And they called it...puppy looooooooove.
Puppy is just gorgeous 🐶
Yip! Pulling things and pinching nerves is part of getting older 🙈Hope you feel better soon.
Enjoy your coffees ☕️ 😉 😋
That puppy and you are a match made in heaven … meant to be …💚☘️🇮🇪
You and the Puppy are adorable, it REALLY does love you.

Cafe owners were penalised if tables were placed outside their cafe for customers.....but after Covid it is now accepted....

I hope that pup has a Learners Permit 😂🐾🐾🚐
That wee puppy is yours Brian. Love your life. 🤗
Puppies always win.
Wicked Irish sense of humour, choosing 'Working on the Chain Gang' for a backing track to the Chateau chores.🙂
There's definitely more of a cafe culture in Ireland now. Plenty of places with seats outside and plenty of independent shops doing really delicious coffee. The problem might be that it'll be October 😂

Hi Brian it was nice that you stopped to say hello the other day by the chaumont memorial stone. Your weekly videos are great, look forward to seeing next weeks. Roger, Anne, Bailey and Jess.
Best vlog yet. Loved the music. Lots of content and fast-paced. You are getting good at this.
So good to have another look at the construction of the castle. Thanks!
Great video Brian👍 interesting angles inside the Château , adorable connection with the puppy 😍 , someone commented “she’s a very good driver” 😄 ❤️
Thanks to you Brian, you have brightend up my so long miserable saturday afternoon!
..things went wrong, people went crazy... now I' m balanced again 🎉
Loved the shot of the clouds rushing overhead whilst you tore down the tower. Cool perspective!
I love the way the pups greet you! Adorable ❤ What a way to start the day.
Yes, the spasms and pinched nerves are a part of life now. Ugh
As soneone appraoching 40 myself, i knew those first two options were just off the table immediately and it would be something absolutely mundane that caused a shoulder injury. Puppy loves are the best! Great footage and it was perfectly longer!!!

Whiskeys good, then you can share....yay. puppy kisses to start work, what a life.
Love the puppy driver. Also fun to get another view of the action at Dan's.
Well that answered my question, I saw a black dog and wondered if it was puppy daddy. Gorgeous snuggly puppy and she could drive you home if you were tired or something. Love Nick❤❤👏👏👌👌🤣🤣
Dan is blessed to have you and nick on the team to bring back the chateau back to life!
I have to say, that you and the puppy seem to are meant be together ❤️ Your vlog are fun to watch thanks
My son aged 14 split his head open on a low beam as he was enthusiastically ushering a wasp out of his room. It’s not just people in their 40’s that get wasp related injuries.
I hope you got the wasp out of the house after the tussle. 😅
That puppy has your name written all over her!!! Who watches the dogs when Dan is away?
I think that little puppy has got your name on it. Great work you three have been doing on the chateau you work so well together thanks for taking us for a coffee. Tyler's look good
That puppy loves you and I think you love that puppy. Hard work yes but think of the unconditional love and companionship.

Appreciated as always Brian, keep them coming. Best.
Music is Fabulous! Christine 🇺🇸 Dearborn USA
enjoy the videos. scenery and a slice of life. Puppy steals the screen. He's definitely picked you as his bestie. bet he would like to go camping. sometimes they choose you!
We have cafe culture here in England but we don't always have the weather, but Ireland is not called The Emerald Isle for nothing.
For the puppy's first driving lesson, I think she did well. A bit distracted, but ya gotta start somewhere.😉
Love your blog !! Don't worry!! We ALL SCRATCH our Bumms!! If you say you never have!??, you are lying!! 😂
Wanted to share that I had a girl's weekend camping and we did a 6 mile kayak trip down a river here I'n MO, USA. The black river. We had a blast !! Ugg!! Now back to work Monday morning. 😢

I also, decided the lab looked suspicious.
Thank you for bringing me along for coffee. I do enjoy my excursions with you.
"Scratch my bum" - keeping it real 🤣
Puppy seemed like a reluctant driver at this point.
I always love stopping at a French cafe; especially in rural French where they may not speak English.
Cuteness overload puppy snuggling x
Nice to see the work from a different angle
Hammock time…oh yes! Enjoy!☕️
You need a dog!!!! Us dog people need dogs to keep us grounded and happy. Keep that puppy!! Have a great weekend, see you in the next video.
