I think the thing that makes your blog so nice is your humanity, honesty and simplicity. You don't pretend to know things you don't, you make decisions like the rest of us, and you're not afraid to show your mistakes. Not to mention you're handsome and funny It makes us all think of you as a person we'd welcome into our circle of friends. Hope you and Russ have a fantastic time catching up.
Thanks for sharing bits of your life in the vlog! It's refreshing, how you just "take us along" on parts of your day. And you even talk to us - instead of AT us. The vlog is a little bright spot in my day!
Well done Brian, I love the casual approach you have to, well, everything... I have much to learn... for me, it seems too many things are SO urgent. Cheers.
I had to LOL at the self talk about not needing any more new and shiny chain saws. Have to do that myself at plant nurseries. Usually doesn’t work. 1 or 2 plants, sometimes more, make their way into my vehicle
I'm 82, hard of hearing, and the volume is a concern. The technical issue is how much louder is the speaking volume compared to the background noise. Low background noise, compared to speaking volume, is the goal. I can always turn up the over-all volume on my computer, but I can't reduce just the background noise.
@@mikehicks9488 I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is a beautiful country but the crime is horrendous. We live behind high walls, have to have armed response security, can’t walk around for fear of being mugged, have to drive with windows up because of highjackers. You’re constantly on guard.
@@vanessajamieson7420I also live in South Africa but we have almost no crime. No walls around our properties and I can walk anywhere at any time without feeling unsafe. It's the payoff for not having big city conveniences.
Hello Brian from Wisconsin USA! The new microphone is working great. I noticed the improved difference. I hope you don't "lower" your volume. It's hard for some of us of a certain age to hear, especially if we are watching on our cell phones. Thank you for bringing us along, the scenery is so nice.😊
Between you, Dan and Stephanie at LaLande I am getting such a wonderful taste of France, a country I love. I lived for a few years in Sauverny, a village on the French-Swiss border and all your vlogs bring back great memories. Thanks for posting.
Brian thank you for your vlogs. Your imposter syndrome I think is part of your charm as well as your natural wit. I love seeing the villages that you share with us. I work from home in Los Angeles and when I see your vlog pop up, I get a mini break to rural France, and this makes me smile. Keep sharing moments of your life. 😊
Thanks for answering my question about restaurant meal prices. Not bad at all for what you get for €19. You’re not talking to loud at all. It’s a good thing you went shopping for food. Enjoy the visit with your friend. I’m just running around myself today for this and that and filling up my fridge, plus paying bills.
My day is going well so far, considering it's 8 am...ha ha. A nice treat to see your vlog early and glad that finding a stream guard was so easy, it takes a couple of weeks to get a new one in the U.S. thanks for thinking of us and taking us along.
Aah Brian good on you for not getting another chain saw. I can only keep up with Nick and his wonderful T shirts. Hope you had a great craic with your friend🥳🥳🍺🍺🥂🥂🥂👏
You’ve become a daily vlogger! I’m loving it. I’m waiting on my son to pick me up to go get six injections around my spine so this was a lovely bit of distraction for me. Thanks!
Microphone is working great, no engine noise lol Im really enjoying your videos and especially the ariel views. lol never shop when your hungry,. Have a great day :)
My mom grewup in NYC in the 20's-30's as a forster child.. she said she was always, ALWAYS hungry. Always... so for my mom.. to have less food in the fridge that could feed 20, was an empty fridge. Her way of showing love and affection , was feeding people. Anyone... the men who worked on the streets in front of our house on Long Island, had lunch ülatters of sandwiches and Limonade sent out by 6 year old me..😂
Hi Brian. I just finished watching all your videos! Yes, you are interesting! Remind me a lot of Dan! I would like to see a tour of your place because the bits I have seen look so interesting. Sure looks like a great place to live? And wonder if you would be comfortable to tell us how long you have lived there and what brought you to France. Hope these questions are welcome to ask but if not please excuse them. Thanks, see you next time!
that was a nice britube vid, chilled and just so utterly bril! 🎉🎉🎉 sounds like a good nosh was had! 😊 and the fact it wasnt too expensive (bout £8? not good at euro conversion! 😂) id prob have it too but with chicken 😂😂😂 lovin these brivlogs, so much feeling of... chilledness (chilled as in way way relaxed!)
Good morning/ afternoon Brian , great you showing me around 🇫🇷 for someone who has never been out of Australia. I can hear you fine and understand with your Irish accent as I grew up with a Scottish father so I love listening to your accent so keep recording
Thanks for another great Video Blog of a day in the life of Brian ,By the way that was a cool looking Hardware store ,The microphone is working just fine
Who doesn't love a shop of new Stihl gear.....so tempting. I use all Stihl AK battery chainsaw, hedge trimmer, blower, whipper snipper, mower, hand pruner, etc to maintain my 1.5 acre garden. Thanks for sharing meal prices was wondering as you eat out quite a lot...19 euros for that lunch = VALUE. Hugs Helen 🇦🇺
For someone who really doesn't like to do RUclips, you're so good at it. You're a natural ✨️ 🎉😊❤ I enjoy watching 👀 😉 🎉 and like your music choices. 🎶 ✨️
We found eating in France, ordinary foods and not fancy, was surprisingly affordable and delicious. My grandson fell in love with all kinds of breads. Even better when my husband and I visited in the late 1970s. Thanks for taking us around on your ordinary day.
Delicious lunch 😋 You can get those harness thingys for your strimmer. Think they help with keeping it stable or something. I love Super U - my fav supermarket in France. Funny enough, I have a bottle of Cremant in my cupboard- made the same way and same grapes of champagne, far cheaper than champagne, made in the Jura region. Best champers ever? Demi sec, 4€ a bottle, big wine warehouse near Roscoff. Well done for not buying another chainsaw 😄
Please don't ever change your style. I love the way you chat to us as though we are with you or sitting beside you in Pascal.
exactly! brivlogs are chill out zone powered by brian! why stress when we have brian
I couldn't agree more. I look Brian's relaxed style
Agreed! Love that sense of humor that pops up!

My life would be perfect if we got a daily vlog from both Dan and Brian, and ,why not, even Nick😊❤❤❤❤❤
Do you know if Nick has a vlog please.
but we need subtitles to comprehend Nick..
well nick having a channel would just be so cool too... our fave 3... the 3 chateaueers
