Now there's an idea. However as it is Chinese mythos and Chinese devs this seems more like a one off. Or maybe just more Chinese mythology titles in the pipeline. But we'll see.
Pretty good performance from the XTX. Kinda crazy to see some people trying to call the devs lazy and saying it's unoptimized. It seems to be ex console players that have moved to PC or new PC gamers not understanding how much tech and fidelity is packed into this game. We used to get games built with PC as a focus a lot more frequently like this that scaled really well with lower end hardware and have room for future hardware to stretch their legs. I'm all for it.
yeahh yeahh cause gettin a new so called scaled well game wth lower end tech while scallin at 40 fps with top end tech like4090 is delightfull . Who wouldn t want to pay almost 2 k on a gpu than to wait another gen to be able to get stable 60 or playable frames at higher res ...Your logic on this is pretty faulty . Games are more and more not optimised in fact ...even with all the new graphical modif they still not optiumised when you always have to rely on scallers and frame gens thus incresing lag and so on
Buddy shut it. It needs more optimization with those special effects, cutscenes and fighting scenes constantly wrecking frames like crazy. But yes if you just run around like a peaceful monkey then it's really good. 😂
For your further testing on Nvidia, set your Windows / Nvidia Control Panel to use DLDSR 1,78 @ 4K and then set the Super Resolution setting in the game to 40%. This will give you 1440p native resolution and the image will be supersampled from 5120x2880 down to 4K. This will provide a noticeably sharper image with much less anti aliasing and floilage flickering at the same performance as 4K / balanced. Also, apply "ledoge/autohdr" to get Windows Auto HDR and change the Nvidia DLLs for DLSS and Frame Generation to their newest versions. This combination of measures will elevate the game visuals quite a bit.
I have the same card and don't get above 80 degrees on the hotspot in any game at any resolution, but I'm using a graphene cryo sheet instead of thermo paste and my temps are excellent. Also card is on a vertical mount as well.
I have the same card and it was the same thing. I thought it was due to not using it for a month and somehow the thermal paste became defective(which don't make sense) so I replaced it with PTM7950 and now I'm seeing core 61C and hotspot 76C. I bought my card used 3 months ago and the previous owner had used it for about 1.5 year.
@vincetheveganprince exactly....I did the same with my 7900xtx red devil as well. Used the Kryonaut graphene pad...3k ghz stable all day hotspot temps under 80
This game not only looks absolutely gorgeous but is also ultra fun to play! 👏🏻🐒 I hope the devs continue the Black Myth series with new mythologies.
