Each One Teach One 5 - Eps 16: Irresponsible Behaviour

Our mothers’ shape who we become when we take on the role ourselves, if a daughter’s bond with her mother is not seen as loving and supportive it may change her abilities to make good choices and to find herself in traumatic and difficult situations. Today EOTO looks at when, sometimes, as with Xholi and her mother it can simply be a situation of a child perceiving she is loved or valued less in the family hierarchy that leads to tragedy, and young adults never taking responsibility for their actions. And in a country where many young girls grow up without their mother present they can make some seriously bad mistakes, EOTO works with Xholi on how to take responsibility for what we will and won’t do to change the cycle we see as shaping our emotions, lives and goals.
