Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.

Despite being a losing series for the Lions this is still my favourite series. The rugby was out of this world and both sides left it all out in the pitch.

I know your comment is a year old. But as a South African I thought that B&I lions teams was absolutely phenomenal. They didn’t miss a kick or drop a ball. But it just so happened that 2009 was by far the best springbok side we had (we beat New Zealand 3/3 times that year).

I am a Rugby League fan but i have to admit this 3 matchs series was incredible . The best Rugby Union thing i have ever seen . Great memories .
Can you suggest a great Rugby league match that I should watch? I hate the Stop/start pattern of play in it, but i haven't given it a proper chance to grow on me..
@@garyodriscoll7988 Hello Gary ! There is so much. Most of states of origin games are crazy . NRL games too . The Rugby League World cup semi final in 2013 England vs New zealand kiwis and the semi final Tonga vs England in 2017 are two or my favorite international games . Hope you will enjoy .

You class eye gouging as physicality? In that case I hope to see constant face stamping and every player covered in blood with permanent disfigured faces. Just for a laugh and some light hearted entertainment. If 30 injuries happen in one game, then that'll mean it was a good game played in the right spirit.

I forgot how physical this was! I remember the Bakkies and Sheridan beef, the legendary Fourie bump and peak Morne putting one through the slots from like 53.7 or 54.7M @ loftus, It was the day before my 15th birthday and our season (@school) had just ended, aaah man! Brussouw LITERALLY CHANGED THE GAME with the chicken wing rule and Bismark was the unsung enforcer, good shnit!!
Simon shaw was so underrated....great player
He was really the type of guy, who you don't like playing against. He did a lot of the hard work most people don't notice, without players like him, the flair players wouldn't get the ball. He was pretty handy in a fight as well.
He should have played more for England and BIL (2005) once MJ hung up his boots.

Brussow's weakness was when the Springboks actually had the ball.
One of the most dominant things the Springboks had was their kicking game and lineout. As soon as the All Blacks started to pick (at the time) versatile back three players like Israel Dagg and Cory Jane who were confident under the high ball and very good at quick lineouts, that all changed. Not to mention the emergence of players like Sam Whitelock and David Pocock (although he debuted in 2008, he was still behind George Smith) the following season who neutralised ball carriers like Spies and dominant front five players like Bakkies.

I think H Brussow could have been labeled as one of the best flankers ever if he didnt have so much injuries, he dominated McCaw, Pocock and many more when he played. Loved it when he manhandled M Williams, actually the boks back then could turn up the heat very easily.

@@rjonesbeau1 agree, but I feel the boks dominated the BIL and actually won the psychological game as well. We bullied the forwards and they could do nothing about it.
The chills down my spine watching this. It was a brutal series. By far the most fierce.

As a Brit, and ex serviceman, who has drank and fought alongside (and maybe against a few times) my ‘Saffa’ brothers and colleagues, I can honestly say: you’re not going to intimidate or muscle out an Afrikaans soldier or athlete. Absolute warriors almost to a man. Great series and great entertainment.
When was the last time the Brits fought alongside the South Africans? The rare one or two who joined the British military when they were taking Commonwealth citizens?
@@broflo3875 regularly down union street on a Friday or Saturday night 😆. I don’t know when the last pub scrap occurred, probably last weekend.
But also in southern Afghanistan, against the taliban/AQ insurgency. For over a decade. Commonwealth citizens still have the opportunity to apply to join HM armed forces, in the exact same way as a born and raised British person.
Defence budgets were slashed immediately upon withdrawing from Afghanistan. There maybe few slots available, and there is no priority given to British passport holders.

@@BootneckAlphaKilo I saw a documentary recently on the Paras where a South African joined and ended up flunking out. I've been to CT and didn't see too many guys that I would consider "hard" or any different from anyone else in the Anglosphere. These rugby players are obviously a different breed, but I wouldn't say their warfighters are any tougher than...let's say the Australians, NZrs, Canucks or the Yanks. At least in my experience.

@@broflo3875 the rare one or two… when I was at Catterick for infantry training our corporal demanded I put a South African flag up in the window along with the Welsh flag and St George’s Cross. Because our accommodation was along one of the main routes on camp I can tell you a bunch of South Africans came asking who the flag belonged to. That was 2005/2006 and loads of South Africans opted to serve in the British Armed Forces because quite frankly our own army was/is just not up to scratch.

Lack of travelling Lions fans is a tragedy for this tour! Crying shame they can't just reschedule for 12 mths later...SA is and will allways be the hardest place for the Lions to win a series in...

Its a different game now. The rules crushes the brutality that was allowed back then. Getting players sent off destroy the balance on a modern rugby pitch and players are aware of the consequences.
I'm not against the vibe to protect players heads, so for absolutely ridiculous incidents like Peter O'Mahoney in the 6N this year, I don't mind seeing cards... But you're right about how the game has changed.

The laws had to change as players got much bigger and stronger over the course of the professional era. Look at the size of players in old tours, and the speeds, the energy of impact is proportional to mass and the square of the velocity, it's much tougher and more dangerous now, despite the old nasty ways.
I think Gatland is a canny southern hemisphere coach and his Lions selection is specifically to play the kind of rugby that will unsettle the Boks by its rapidity and repetiotion of the stuff they can't play against in the way they like so I'm voting for a Lions win.

The 2001 tour wasn't great, but Clive Woodward almost killed the spirit of the lions in 2005. Ian Mcgeechan was well aware of just how bad the ethos was in 05. He not only pulled the Lions back but what he embedded in that 2009 squad has rubbed off in every squad since. The best thing is that Warren Gatland got to see this and gets it. I love rugby

Given that the main tactic was to take out O'Discoll (deliberatly injure him) then he probably wishes he could have done a bit more damage and made a few more illegal challenges before he got taken out. I would say our main tactic should be to paralyze Cheslin Kolbe, but it's so difficult to get close to him that's probably unrealistic.

This tour should be a blueprint for the current Lions as how not to take on South Africa: physically outmatched and soundly beaten on the scoreboard in all but one test, they resorted to crude bravado and dirty cheap shots to try and intimidate the Boks. It didn't work, clearly (you're never going to beat SA at the aggression game), and the whole experience aught to be a salutary one to Gatland and Co. that they need their charges to play smart and hard - not simply rough - if they're to be in with a shout of winning the next series.

The most violent? Surely that was '74 - where the lions had the "99 Call" basically the 'get stuck in' and the famous footage of JPR Williams storming more than halfway across the pitch to engage Moaner Van Heerden after one such '99 Call'. (in fact the '99 call' has it's own page on Wikipedia). In one match, one of the Lions hit one of the 'Boks so hard it caused his glass eye to pop out.
It's probably safe to say that the '74 series was a rolling brawl interspersed with occasional bouts of rugby. (apparently after the 'boks eye popped out all 33 people on the pitch got down on hands and knees and looked for the missing glasswear...and when found, re-commenced battle.)

I think the lions will win this tour. SA has not played since the RWC final almost 2 years would have passed since they played a match as a team. Even Rassie isn’t that much of a miracle worker.

It's going to be basically the same team that won the W.C so they know each other where as the lions have not played as a team before and a lot of the SA players have been in awesome form for their clubs lately.

Combine the best players from 3 contenders for the RWC, and play against a team that's .... Very well rested... It's could be ugly.

@@candycain2327 I disagree. We only beat Wales by 3 points in the SF, they could have just as easily won that game. And Wales had repeatedly defeated england in the 6 nations before that. So a Wales / England Final could have gone either way. That makes them contenders.
AS for Ireland, they defeated the all blacks twice before the world cup began and went into the competition ranked no 1 on IRB rankings. They were clearly contenders.

You can imagine, four out of a hundred wearing Springbok colours. It was awesome and many a Scot came up to us after the game and congratulated the Springboks.
