    It's bright because it's in the sunlight, outside of earths shadow. The exhaust gasses expand out rapidly past a certain point because there is very little atmosphere to push back on the gas, so it continues to expand outward.

    The Falcon 9 rocket has a stage that disconnects and lands on its own. The main rocket needs to be at a 90-degree angle to achieve velocity to escape Earth's orbit to achieve maximum fuel efficiency.

      because this one is the Falcon , also most of the video the falcon was already in the outer space the sun what made it looks so bright .

    Why in other video's do you see it taking off and disappear into the sky during the day. But then we see it in other videos at night going across the sky and not even straight up anymore? No there's probably a very easy to explanation to explain that. So can anyone answer that?

    • @MattSimmonsSysAdmin
      @MattSimmonsSysAdmin 7 лет назад +5

      Rockets that send things to orbit don't go straight up, they go up then over.
      You can see it a for a lot longer at night because the engines are so bright.

      This is a low level orbital satellite launch. So I assume that's why it has such a low launch pattern

    • @MrJunganaught
      @MrJunganaught 7 лет назад +4

      Because of the time of day, the sun has set but it's still the last minutes of twilight in the filming location. As the rockets altitude increases it travels into the sunlight again which accentuates the second stage exhaust plume and the first stage flip and boostback burn inside it. Amazing sight wish i could have seen it in person and not on the space x live stream

      All rocket launched at dawn/dusk look like that, same happened in Florida no long ago with an Atlas V and many times in Russia with the Soyuz rockets.

    • @JRMCNEA

      That was my point the rockets we "Used to see" were public rockets, where money was wasted and innovation was non-existent.
