- She might have started as an avid fan of Warcraft III and WoW, but since she got into the Dota 2 scene Jorien "Sheever" van der Heijden has become one of the most well-known broadcast personalities in esports.
Starting her career at The International 2 for GosuGamers, Sheever quickly earned a fan following as caster, desk host and streaming personality. From her home in the Netherlands to Valve's headquarters in Seattle, Washington, this is the story of Jorien van der Heijden.

sheever has really improved over the years, and i feel her moving from casting to hosting has also been really good for her, she leads a conversation really well, and calling her being the token female shows a complete disregard to the time and effort she has put in in the past, she used to have daily updates to show the dota community which games were being played at what time every day, and that was apart from casting the unpopular games the big studios didnt want to cast cause there werent big names in it.

I remember back in Ti3 she left the overlay on during the Prelim match of Alliance vs Orange. They did a Lvl 1 Rose strat and the overlay was on during the entire thing. Still one of the funniest things she did as a caster.

MariusHimself Basically all the major casters are 6k+ and there are a lot of them. Redeye is straight too old/not good at Dota and he forced himself to learn enough about the game to ask insightful questions because he is a professional.
Sheever does not have the impetus to do so because she gets hired for being female. Live in reality and see it for what it is.
