Finding out sister friede is one of the easiest bosses in this run must have been a real stamina boost
It would be a real stamina booster if she were step sister Frieda.
So, what have we learned today?
- A cornered Friede never fights back.
- The best way to deal with the Greatwolf's second phase is for him to not have a second phase.
- If you don't go for the laser lad in the Demon Prince fight phase 2, he'll come for you in phase 1.
- The father of evolution really was the downfall of the Church.
- Gael may talk a big game, but as soon as he gets too high in the world, he'll get cold feet.
- Midir thinks you should git gud.

@@PressContinue To be fair, there's a lot of churches in DS3 - as many as there are castles in Elden Ring, or...churches on a main street in a Midwest American city. You just go numb to them.
Ending the run with Midir's laser light show was absolute perfection.

Well during my Bloodborne no stamina run that was definitely the case, but given that I was on PC this time, I simply unmapped the roll from the circle button
Could never complete this challenge but at least I watched this video without using stamina. I count that as a successful run.

It honestly been a joy to follow the livestreams, the halflight attempts and desperation, the prince bugs, the weirdness that was Gravetender / Friede and just Gael + Midir. I either watched the vods or was live there for all of it, and i am glad to see it cut down to the most important bits. Helped a lot while studying / working, i hope you keep doing these insane runs, your commentary makes it so much better :)
All 5 of the boss fights here were absolute gold

Fun fact: in Italian the word “pupa” basically has 2 meanings: it can mean the same as in English, or in alternative it can mean a particularly hot and attractive girl. So if you say in Italian “Friede is a pupa” it would be basically understood as “Friede is very attractive”.
And in polish it means ass. So it would be "friede is an ass"

This is mad dude, holy fuck you must have some patience haha. I remember going thorugh the dlcs for the first time, uninstalling and reinstalling the game on a regular playthrough lol.
Champion gundyr probably still the funniest fight for me... I mean, that dance between attackin only when possible, gaining poise resistence all the time the boss is attacking, optimizing the healings and recovering fp all the time to can still using endurance and attacking... All of that just to optimized the dps race against the boss, just literrally playing another game, xD

Sorry Press, One small correction about the Crystal Lizard killing Gundier. (You would have to put yourself right in the ”Line of Ice”, Not “Line of fire”. Because, The lizard doesn’t use fire.)
They don't use ice either. That's crystal breath which is magical. So it would have to be in the line of magic then I guess

It's kind of ironic that a run without using stamina also ends up being one the most exhausting runs you've done, and it makes me wonder what a run where you MUST use stamina for EVERY action would look like. And I mean EVERY action outside of speaking with NPCs, so; rolling, running, jogging, walking, swapping weapons, attacking, sipping estus, taking damage, parrying, holding a shield up, blocking etc. Surely that would be pretty exhausting as well, lol. I'd imagine it would get pretty annoying running out of stamina before even attacking an enemy considering how much you just have to move around in fights.
I got second hand rage seeing the Demon Prince hang on with that gnat's dick worth of health left. I HATE in these games when you deal a blow on boss that should be the coup de grace, but they just fucking hang in there. Well done, this a run to be proud of.
Imagine being a sweaty minmaxed tryhard who still does church invasions in Dark Souls 3 in the year of our Gwyn 2011+12 and you get clowned on by a guy who doesn't even need to use his stamina bar to beat you.
(yeah I know he was just messing around but it's funnier to think it's a legit win)
Funny thing is that it's becoming a trend, since I also had a pvp kill in my Bloodborne no stamina playthrough

Iirc using the shield buff spell on the Greatshield of glory gives it 100 stability, letting you block without taking stamina.
Perhaps so, but doesn't matter, because casting that spell itself costs stamina

All these years playing ds3, loving being a mage more than anything....HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT SIMPLE INFUSED SHIELDS RECOVER FP!?
I know it’s not exactly Press’ cup of tea but I reckon he could make an excellent ds boss difficulty ranking video given all the challenges experience
DS1 DLC: See big dragon, he shoot fire.
DS2 DLC: See big dragon, he shoot fire and poison.
DS3 DLC: Here's a *huge* dragon who shoots fire and lasers, and he has Manus's moveset as well.
Elden Ring: Here's a gigantic two-headed dragon who has fire _and_ lightning _and_ he can teleport _and_ both heads shoot the oneshot lasers - oh yeah, and this one's just in the base game, who knows what we'll add in the DLC?
This dragons are getting out of hand
I always use gael summon in the frieda fight
he makes second and third phases a brieze
since in second phase he usually aggros frieda on himself letting you wale on ariandel himself
and in third phase he tends to pull her out of invisibility for free
but he's not immortal tho so him dying mid fight does happen
I tuned in for Gael and thats all i saw and by the time it was done *I* was fucking tired lmao
3rd phase Friede wordplay was top tier 🤌

Hey, I hope you'll excuse this comment that has nothing to do with the actual video 😅 I've recently been told you are the same guy who used to post under the name KnownNoMore, I've watched a lot of videos of yours back in the days. I dont know if you'd prefer not to be associated with them anymore, but your takes on religion and your infamous Rosatrice theory (which I've heard you've disowned at some point?) are still inspirational to me in terms of logical thinking. I remember you said you were considering writing a book at some point and I wanted to ask if you ever ended up doing it. In any case I'm glad you're still around with a successful channel 👍
Surprised you were able to find me given how many years it has been. That was quite a different era of youtube after all, but I very rarely get a comment like this. And yes I did in fact write a book back then. Never had it published though. However that is gonna change as me and my band are working on a concept album that has my novel as its story and will be released together. Probably in a year or so from now.
Of course I would have to get it translated as well since it's not written in English as you'd expect.
