As much as I’m sad and disappointed that Poppy is now gone, at least she won’t get butchered and look awful 😭

3. First they remove the second outfit and now even the accessories get toned down
4. people wanted some dresses from project rainbow as fashion packs. They were right there, but nope we get something slightly about barbie fashionista quality

Let's be honest, the fact that RH includes more accessories, more affordable prices and now a pet is for MH, it's just that Monster High looks better because of the fantasy theme and the articulation 🐢🐢
As someone who always tries to find something positive on doll releases. These are hideous omg just discontinue it no need for this.
MGA must be in financial trouble if they're soft rebooting RH to be as appealing to kids as possible. Not even kids - babies. Toys for babies will make you way more money than picky adult collectors. I've heard the poopsie slime dolls were a pretty unexpected financial success and it's kind of like they're desperate to bring it back. The question is, do kids these days even care about slime? lmao. It seems like this fad has been over for years now. Anyway, to anyone who thought about collecting RH/SH - now's the time to get the dolls on your wishlist. It's just going to get more and more difficult to come by the good lines, until they're only accessible on ebay for $100. I know I'm going to complete the og SH line while I still can.
They are shifting their focus into a different brand right now. You’ll see companies (like Mattel because they done it before) neglect their most popular brands so they can shift popularity into something else.
Based on what I’m seeing, Bratz is trying to get back to the preteen/children’s market next year with their new Playline dolls “Alwayz Bratz”. Hence more accesorios than the average $25 Bratz doll.

I’m honestly disappointed like the seems very out of nowhere well not totally but it’s very strange to me to completely change the target audience when adult collectors were very into the brand. I want to hold out hope that these are just a few lines targeted to a younger audience but idk I hope that moonbow thing is a decent line at least
It kills me to see that Poppy is gone, she was my favorite. I loved her music and butterfly theme.
It is unfortunate and definitely feels like the line is going downhill. Somewhere up at the top someone wanted to save money but also thinks that slime is going to be the next big thing I guess. Even the swimsuit dolls don't have knee articulation.
Looks like I'll be getting all of my new outfits for dolls off of Etsy. Sure, they're like $30+ but also better in general.
I have got to ask... Why Slime and Dolls? I like Slime and I like Dolls but... they don't feel like they go together, am I crazy can anyone explain this?
I still can't forgive MGA the lack of wrist articulation. Yeah, let's do it for all doll lines (OMG Tweens, all RH dolls - JH have the same problem).
This just looks so unnatural to me... The dolls pose like awkward robots 🤖
I get the explanation that kids can choke with removable hands, but they can still choke with shoes, earrings or anything like this. So... it's probably just the money issue
Give Poppy and Bella their Flowers justice for them side theory I think that MGA is focusing on their Bratz reproduction dolls.
It feels like MGA is trying to compete with the new MH reboot.
Slime and dolls are the worst combination. Unless their slime is not sticky at all which would be not stretchy. Imagine your kid buy the doll and put the slime all over the doll clothes, hairs. It’s a parents money nightmare
I hope that Rainbow High gets back to normal ASAP! I get how the glitter and tinsel in the hair is a reference to the Poopsie Slime Surprise dolls that came before them, but getting rid of wrist articulation for the Classic line was unnecessary.
And those fashion packs: I was personally hoping for at least some goth, alternative, and even some Shadow High fashion packs, but they are all clothes that will not be the best suited for my SH doll army, unfortunately. I am also hoping for Poppy's reveal in the line ASAP as well, just for a bit of hope that everything isn't all doomsday like everyone is making it seem!🖤💜
Things to point out and 3 things I hate about this
1: I H.A.T.E THE SKIN WHY IS IT COVERED IN GLITTER
2: WHY TINSEL
And 3: THE DESIGN IS LASY
Specially since they already knew that people didn't like the glitter skin that much

I'm shocked by Amaya because in the previous leaks I swear she didn't have pink hair. She also didn't look this awful omg I didn't think she could get worse.
I'm a huge Poppy hater so I don't really mind that she's getting replaced. It just sucks that her Fantastic fashion doll is disappearing because its the only Poppy doll that I like. :/

@@LeeDee5I’m assuming it’s because she’s no longer going to be a character in the reboot so they’re no longer keeping her in stock and producing her.
@RainonMel i dont think its that simple. From what i understand she was in stock and then mysteriously was taken off the shelves over the black friday weekend. There was no crazy sales so i doubt she just sold out. I dont think retailers would just take poppy off the shelves just because shes being phased out as a character. Walmart still sells Karma and its been a hot minute since she was relevant.
Personally I could never find Jade or Poppy in stores so i didnt even notice anything off till it was mentioned she was out of stock online too.
@@Moonlitwatersofaqua I didn’t even notice anything at first either… but the fact that’s she’s unavailable everywhere like you said and online definitely makes me think that they’re not going to restock her anymore. I think it’s just MGA not producing her anymore because stores haven’t gotten any new shipments of her since Oct for most places, from what I’ve heard.

What disturbs me personally with the new dolls is that all of them have a very light inner tint lip 👀 like huhhh they look the same

imo sunny and violet are the only 2 good ones and the only save-able ones
Unpopular opinion I think but I like that amaya has the pink cause I’m pretty sure it was stated that she dyes her hair every so often so it kinda makes sense why she’d have the pink but i do agree that it should’ve been Bella at that point
I don't understand why they just won't keep Amya with white hair. I think it really works for her. But, it also makes so sense that her slime accessories are white/clear, but then her main color is now pink. If you look at her image on the fashion pack. She has her white ponytail. So why keep her color white/clear in a way, but then keep giving her different hair themes? 1st blue, now pink?
On a side note, I'll probably get slime Ruby bc I love her crimped hair. But I'll probably do a body swap.
I might buy Sunny’s fashion pack so I can redress her base doll (since I’m not a fan of her base outfit) but yeah I’m so disappointed with what Rainbow High has been doing lately. I like the new Sunny doll, she’s kinda cute, but I am *definitely* not a fan otherwise.
Skyler's fashion pack makes her look like Noah from Hairmazing Hairdorables imho
I definitely like this Amaya more. Maybe change the clothes and then she’s cute. She has a…softer color palette

i havent been collecting RH for very long and i like to collect more kid focused lines like g3 mlp so i definitely am biased, and i dont mind these designs that much. its a shame theyve gone away from the high concept designs but theres also some surprising improvements to me, im a sucker for sunnys low ponytails even with the tinsel, they reflect her soft and sweet look better for me, and overall i think theyve done a good job giving the dolls more dimension, still showing clear colour themes but being less blandly monotone than some past RH. i think they definitely lost design credit for being less experimental and posable but i actually feel like they have clarity in the designs through really considering audience now, these feel less rigid than before and more playable, accessible, and projectable for kids (and adults) while still having personality. i know how many adult collectors loved the old direction though so im sorry for them and im also sad that we cant expect as much to look forward to seeing what RH do next in terms of their surprising unique designs. as a sidenote though imo RH (SH too) kinda deserves to lose more collectors faith like this bc of their increasingly poor approach to racial diversity 😀 (

also, how can they technically still be 'rainbow high' if they dont have all the colors of the rainbow??? the whole thing about the series one characters is just scrapped :/
I saw this coming but I'm still extremely disappointed. I guess I'll just keep on collecting the original RH and SH dolls that I love and cherish the ones that I do have. So disappointing. I won't be giving MGA money for this crap.
RIP SH, and RIP to Francisca, Delfina, and Angelina. We probably won't get them, and if we do, they'll probably suck.
Everyone is wondering where MGA’s priorities are, but it’s very clear that MGA is putting more focus and effort into their Bratz brand. Funny how L.O.L. Surprise! and Rainbow High are losing articulation and the fashion is just getting goofy. Meanwhile, Bratz plans on releasing $25 Playline dolls with added arm and wrist articulation and a fashion style that finds a medium between the average adult Bratz collector and a tween audience.
Really think about it. MGA (Isaac Larian) knows and has stated many times before that L.O.L. Surprise! and Rainbow High are the most “hottest”, “coolest” and “popular” fashion dolls on the market. Both of those products make MGA loads of money especially L.O.L. Surprise bringing the company over $25Billion dollars but yet there’s a shift in what the company wants to focus on as a whole.
Aside from MGA’s competitor (Mattel), MGA is the largest Toy company in the world and their products take up most of the toy isles.. pay attention to how companies will sabotage their popular brands just so they can get consumers to invest into something else..
Mattel has done it before.
I like the fashion packs. Controversial, I know. 7.99 each rn, but might drop a dollar lower for a preorder or similar. They're centred around activities, which we haven't really gotten before.
The pjs are fun and not a copy paste of the slumber party or new sleepover JH dolls.
Rollerskates pack looks pretty much identical to what I've seen pics and videos of from Southern Californian rollerskating. The shorts are an odd fit to me, but this can easily double as a cosy loungewear set.
Cheer outfit is not my fave. I'm just not a cheer girl.
Beach set is not a copycat of the PCH dolls, and is a very nice, simple design, which makes sense for a beach look.
Ballet recital.... with heels? Yeah no. Also why the ribbon? Since when are they used in ballet??? Reminds me of a specific purple Barbie Fashion Avenue dress.
Pink party dress is cute and fun. I like it. Could do with a belt maybe but it's quite nice.
why do NONE of these dolls have brown eyes. That photo of them all together is so weird if you focus on the eyes. Brown eyes are literally the most common colour, did the original line all have blue or green or purple eyes? it looks so weird to me lmao
The og series 1 didn’t feature any brown eyes from what I remember
None of the core 6 ever had brown eyes. Brown is actually one of the common colors in rh tbh. There's 3 1/2 eye colors, brown, blue, purple, and sometimes green.

I actually sort of like the amaiya slime doll. I sort of want her. And if the jnr dolls are going to be cheap, I'd want them too. Violet is usually my favourite doll. I wonder how they'll do her outfit. All depends on that. Definately going after the runway dolls when they are on sale again. Do you think the series 3 budget dolls sold well? Dat my question?
Did...did they change face molds? Something about Amaya looked off, besides her awful hair I mean, and I realized her eyes are larger. All of the characters eyes are larger. You can probably see it best on Skyler who looks absolutely bug-eyed, like that high pony is pulling her eyes open

Um… MGA and Mattel seem to have different ideas about what is age appropriate. As we know, Monster High is wrist articulated. I just unboxed the G3 Budget dolls and noticed they stated 4+ on the box. Other wrist articulated Monster High dolls state “ Not for children under 3.” Yeah…I think the lack of wrist articulation is more a cost issue than an age issue.😏

A few of those Barbie Extra dolls are really good ! ...a few are bad too. Well, the 3 I have are nice quality, nice faces, nice long saran hair & fun jewelry. But, I know what you mean, some of the outfits are hideous...lol.

I don't like this. Why would RH add fantasy pets that poop slime everywhere like what 😂 I like the fashion packs though. They just don't look good on those certain dolls. What I hate most is that you can't remove the hands to it's harder to put the clothes on. I guess it was because of choking hazards or product replacements? Sunny looks cute although the twin pack has the best Sunny, Skyler is giving Noah from Hairdorables (I do like that doll a lot but not on a RH body), and I actually like this Violet. If the stock photos look okay I MIGHT swap her head to put on a Fantastic Fashion Violet cause I hate the FF Violet face. The fashion pack Amaya is currenyly wearing I could probably put on Bella. All in all, I'm not really feeling this line.

Not interested in any of these personally. I am normally a pet person, but I would have to see the pets in person to see how I feel about them. Not worth getting the dolls just for a pet though; and I think it looks like there are better pets out there. Thanks for the info :)
