I had a bit of a hard time at some points during the process of opening my latest RH purchases. But compared to Fail Fix packaging , the process is less stressful.

Dolls are for whoever gets a good feeling from them. They make me very nostalgic, and I am also a customizer! The VERY most recent wave actually do have properly joined knees that fold back (like, they can kneel right down) but the arms are still meh.... SOooooo I headswap them to megaposeable made-to-move barbie heads xD The curvy body is pretty good proportions! .... and then they sit around on my desk, nude but covered by their hair while they wait for me to decide what to art them into xD and freak out all my visitors who go to my desk xD!!!
True but what I love with the LOL dolls packaging is you can use the box as a toy set it’s design to be played with and not just to keep the doll safe. We also need to keep in mind children will play with them and i don’t think it should be necessary to have sharp tools to open the box
I first watched this when I wasn’t interested in these dolls and now I’m watching it having collected almost all the dolls I can get in the UK. Feels like we have come a long way since series 1
take the tape off the top of the box around the doll area (if you’re looking directly at it that’s the right side) then slide her out of main boxing. she will still be in a plastic shell, slide doll out of plastic ribbons connecting to shell (feet can sometimes be difficult, hands are always removable!) when the doll is out then hook behind the second outfit with a finger and pull the boxes out. very easy
and if you need to get rid of the gel use dish soap then a spritz of fabric softener out of a water bottle. and steamers straighten and curl synthetic hair.
I bought Heather Grayson and Deliah Fields awhile ago, and didn't know they came with stands because how I took everything out of the box and didn't see the stands so I accidentally threw them away 😭😭 but this video helped me know where they are for my shadow high twins when they come and future dolls. So thank you so much. No more accidentally throwing away stands.
Clearly a lot of people use barbie as an insult, barbie is expanding in a lot of skin tones, body shapes, hair colours, cultures etc, barbie was made to show everyone that “You can be anything you want to be”, people need to see that, because as a doll collector it gets offensive as barbie was my first inspiration.
You don't have to completely open the box- you can just open the dolls area and take out the doll stands from the side and I don't even take out the clothing boxes, I just open the plastic and take out the clothes.
I got series 1 yellow. I want series two pink as well. I'm 30 years old y'all. I never liked dolls when I was a child but if they were this cute and well made in 95? I would have had them ALL.
I bought these and I love them and I just wanted to tell you that you can keep the pretty boxes that have the second outfit it takes a bit of effort but you can do it But the rest of the packaging sucks and needs some work

I have mixed feelings. It is rather stressful at some points to try to get the extra clothes out for example. And I hate that they literally have the doll held hostage ( especially the head ) in the box... But I love the shiny / sparkle / metallic rainbow part.

I LOVE rainbow high dolls, i only just got two, the only thing I'm not that impressed at is the difference in the waist size compared to the actual body, but it can easily be covered by the clothes.
the packaging struggle was kind of a pain, the scariest part was the piece of plastic that goes through the back of her head/hair, i cut it ever so slightly wrong and it got stuck and i had to use pliers to get them out, but because of that she now sadly has a bit of hair pulled out of her ponytail (talking about nicole) also i was a little dissapointed at how many loose strands there are on the clothing, but honestly it seems many sewn things made nowadays are sold with loose strands lol. also one of the knees looked kinda beat up straight out of the box and bends less well (it seems to not quite fit properly, so the joint and the socket are scraping against eachother. though the other knee has that too, but slightly less. and on the back of the joint there's big pieces of loose plastic which looks kind of weird and concerning), but i couldn't see that before buying because of the socks... i do like their articulation though, and that they come with extra clothing. and i think the shadow high designs are quite interesting and pretty. the rainbow high ones aren't really my thing though
Hello, I only have two RH dolls a second hand Amaya Raine and a brand new River Kendall, I didn't get a stand with Amaya, but like your Ruby, River has a cap and a hole in his head for it to fit snug, but just an FYI its not a crop top or tank, its a bustier or leather bra, my Amaya came with a cream one with rainbow stitching and I like the idea of layering it with other tops! Also if you feel like exploring, I found with a little work River shirt, the one tied around his waist, can be worn as a shirt, but you need a little altering to be done, ;o)
Girl I just got one today and I got the costume ball violet and it was so easy to open just cut the tape then pull out the cardboard getting the doll out of the plastic is as hard as heck! So I'd give it a solid 9/10 it was 25$ not counting tax in the u.s!
What was annoying is Violet has shoes that have straps around the ankles, not bad right? Wrong they didn't make the straps strong enough causing one out of the 4 shoes to now have a broken strap because the feet and strap were not the same size, the only way I found works is if you use the socks as a in between but if a child got this doll all the shoes would break by the end of the play session.
I highly recommend you buy Amaya raine. She in my opinion is such a good doll, she has long hair you can play with. Beautiful clothing. She just a good doll to be honesty. So if you want you can do an unboxing of her.🙃

Yo any and all doll companies listen up because I got a plan that will save the packaging stress altogether just make packaging that’s like a lock box and when you sell the dolls to cars to sell give them a key unlock the boxes then when somebody goes to buy the dolls they will get the key to unlock the box and the band the dolls just ready to go and play with
I have every single one I have skyler ruby poppy jade violet and sunny guys their worth it my parents even agree with me they are toys they are fun they are pretty and cute the box it came in is lovely

I got some other day the big pack and daphne Minton and Krystal Bailey Packaging was top notch took ages to get into But disappointed threads looked bad in some parts Shoes was hard to work to change on Krystal and some dolls but the shoes can be loose if they strappy heels I’ve heard monster high shoes work maybe so I try it one day I like the face and bodies of these dolls but mine had defects on body too which was a shame but ik I don’t think I will see them Hair was crusty too A lot of shedding only doll was fine was daphne I have done drawings for my own outfits too based on inspiration what they be in or fit or on their style I have done 3 but not uploaded my 3rd one I might still continue the doll I’m not sure yet or try lol omg doll my mum said to me I was too old to collect dolls I have customised them in past still got some in process but she did apologise recently when I said about it cause I felt nervous if I did it
Listen you need to educate yourself and be creative! If you do it right and just cut the tape it's easy to get into. Also I use tiny fuzzy velcro dots to secure the garments back in the display boxes so you can actually use it.
Hot take: I prefer rainbow high dolls to lol omg dolls bc they actually have a waist and not just copypasta Bratz dolls, with creepy looking baby sister dolls which makes me ask questions

The same thing happened to me..the strap broke right off. It's as if the foot is too big for the shoe.
