You could say I was looking for a revelation. I had come to Manaus, Brazil's city in the Amazon Rainforest, looking for answers. The indigenous tribes of the area were known to provide a certain kind of medicine when looking for enlightenment -- ayahuasca. Before continuing my journey in Brazil, it was time to untangle the knots in my brain and reach my true inner self.
Or at least, that was the plan.
