I'm not here to convince for her but to share my testimony for what I confirmed, she’s Trust worthy and best option ever seen, thanks MRS MARIA BROWN, God bless you, I've never seen or heard any of her clients has complain of failed. I think she's just too lucrative and perfect for this job
As a RN (registered nurse) I'm not afraid of loosing my job or quitting my job because I learnt how to save to invest putting my money back to work to make more money. I'm not just after the money but the freedom to live on my terms
There's a lot of investing options real estate, stocks, ETFs, crypto but my best advice get a professional lead you into profitable one and make good financial decisions
Omg you actually quit. It can be scary the unknown but you have experience under your belt and you're a great NP. Take your time to find your next adventure. We here for the ride. 🤗
I completely understand knowing when a job is not for you and exiting stage left. I just did that with my job. It is silly to keep going to a job everyday and you are not happy there. You have to do what is best for you and your family. One thing about it, there are plenty jobs to choose from! I’m excited for you and your journey! 😊❤
I have one year left on my contract as a NP in UC, praying for a miracle. I'm giving them 6 months notice😂, they can get rid of me early. But I'm never treating 50 patients alone. Thank you for sharing, your journey has been helpful.
Omg!! Your son is hilarious...lmao 😂😂😂😂. Yes ma'am... being an NP is too much work and it's stressful as heck. But I hope you'll find that NP job that less stressful! Great video Laurie!
You look amazing! I just started watching. The title had me like 😱. I’m a BSN, RN. I’ve been thinking of going for my NP. I always ask myself if the stress is worth it.
Hi Christie. Nurse Practitioner here. I was very happy as a RN, BSN. Made lots of money, NP money with a few OT shifts without the extra stress and liability of NP practice. Then, the hospital where I was at was shuttered and I started at another hospital which treated their nurses very badly. I ran to get my NP thinking that was my ticket to freedom but I quickly discovered that the University doesn't help you with placement, they don't prepare you properly by giving more clinical hours, my University didn't even find us physicians to do clinical with. We had to find our own physicians to do clinical with and I had to settle for physicians who really didn't train me well. After graduating, I found out that many physicians don't offer any health insurance, don't want to pay malpractice insurance and many just dump their workload on YOU. Also, many MDs don't always want to mentor you, they expect you to be able to handle everything. It's not like the hospital where you have a preceptor. I don't want to seem negative but I didn't have the experience that I anticipated. I thought that NPs and MDs work together in COLLABORATION but that's not really true. The MD is often out of the office and the NP is carrying the whole patient schedule alone. Maybe I just had bad luck, don't want to discourage you. Just talking about my experience. I'm back in the hospital, at the bedside because I'm single and needed health insurance. My MD didn't want to give me health insurance. I don't mind working 3 twelve hours shifts a week and if a better NP opportunity comes along I might consider it but only part time. In conclusion, I would say that if you're happy at the hospital, stay there. The NP market is saturated and the money and benefits are not there as before but what IS there is increased workload, liability and stress. Do your research.
Hi Christie. Scroll down a little further down this thread. Read Amber L.'s post. Everytime I feel like I'm the only one who 's had a bad experience, I always find another new, novice NP who's feeling the burn as well. Good luck to you in all your future endeavors. May the love of the Lord be with you. Peace and blessings 🙏.
Staffing at your urgent care location was *ridiculous* ! They should be ashamed of themselves. We have multiple providers per UC location depending on patient volume. 50 patients/day = 3 providers. 75-100 patients = 4-5 providers. We also have at least two RNs working per shift. A MA is *not* permitted to work alone. In our state, hourly employees are not guaranteed a lunch break, however, if we aren't permitted to leave the premises, they are mandated to pay us.
I love watching your vlog! I also work in an urgent/acute care clinic but this is my first job as an NP. Have been there for four months now and still transitioning. I was an oncology nurse for many years prior and plan to go back once I get my one year experience lol. I’ve seen other vlogs with you talking about seeing 40+ patients in a day. I am struggling seeing 20. The charting is kicking my butt! I have smart texts and such. I feel like I’m putting too much info into it but am afraid I will leave something out ugh. Do you have any tips for me or anyone else reading this? Any input is much appreciated! I am looking forward to hearing about your next endeavor! ❤
Thanks for watching. I used Epic and I mad alot of smart phrases for the most common things we see in the UC and my charting goes faster that way, there are still days when I can't keep up with the charging either, don't feel bad. Best of luck to you
I came here wanting to switch from SNF to possibly UC once my SNF year is up, lol😂 I'm looking forward to hearing about your new adventure! I'll check the archives for UC stuff, lol😂
@@alignedwithchrist Hello, my Sister in Christ and my fellow Sister Nurse. Thank you for your reply. So kind of you to reply. I'm in Northern New Jersey, that's why I didn't know that abbreviation. Thanks for touching base with me and I hope you have all the best in life. Nurses should always be supportive of each other. Always. Peace and blessings to you.
I am a new NP worked in primary care for 3 months and quit. I went back to RN job and now not sure what to do. Do not want to waste my degree but scared to go back NP. Can you be a np and has work life balance?
Hi Amber. I'm a Nurse Practitioner also. I'm interested in hearing your story. I returned back to the bedside also. Please look at my post in this thread under Christie Rose's post at the beginning of this thread and please share your experience with us. I understand what you're going through. Please share your story. I care about your situation. Let's learn from one another.
Yes being an NP is very time consuming and they want NP’s to always be able to justify what they get paid and physicians are getting away with doing the bare minimum . It is good when you take a stance and say no more . My health and work life balance is important to me . Life is too short and we are all dispensable when it comes to these employers . Covid showed us that.
