That Symphony Miku is the first figure I've seen that left me dumbfounded. It's STUNNING! More manufacturers should include music boxes with their figures!

The 5th symphony miku is absolutely stunningggg!! I have her too and she’s definitely grail worthy! And I love that from the side her hair looks like a 5, it’s a really nice touch!

I think the straight/squared end parts of her hair is meant to give more japanese-vibes and if youre familiar with traditional japanese female fictional characters , its quite common for their hair to end like that.

I love the intro! Your sense of humor always adds a nice touch to your videos, and this one is no exception. I will say, though, that convincing yourself that you are in the Arctic can only go so far. Have you considered getting an air conditioner? ;)
Congratulations on your very special haul! Those Mikus are super lovely. I have the 5th Anniversary Symphony Miku too. I hope her hair doesn't eventually droop like many have reported. So far so good for my unit though. The chemical smell always seems most evident in figures with dark paint, in my experience.
I truly believe that the biggest enemy of most collectors is the figure boxes. You can always make more money but physical space will always be the primary constraints once your collection reaches a certain size.
Summer went by quickly. The wildfires have been a problem in my area, but thankfully it hasn't impacted me directly.

I think a big part of Miku's draw is the lack of a super detailed official backstory with not much else to go on, leaving us free to use our own imaginations to come to our own conclusions, (like the unique figure interpretations we have been seeing.) It reminds me of the INCREDIBLY popular Transformers Bishoujo line. Based on a single illustration, there has been SO much interest and imaginative fan art going around for these characters, (unless we assume they live out the exact lives of their alter egos lol.) But even growing up I always preferred the Star Wars figures who had the LEAST amount of screen time as well, likely because they inspired the imagination! 😎
1000% agree! The characters that we ourselves get to imagine a story for have always been more fun and meaningful. It leaves so much room for the imagination to run wild!
Funny story. I decided to show my collection to one of my sisters, who didn't know I went into fully collecting figures. She did like the collection, but then I showed that I preordered this Miku figure. She really wanted pictures, especially the base. She then went back home. Several hours later, the figure showed up. She was, indeed, unhappy she missed the actual figure.
I put the Miku's back into the AmiAmi box it came in, and marked it. Too big to fit in the totes I have for the good boxes I want to keep.
She is the ultimate autumn figure.

@@hangoof I doubt she's a serious anime watcher or game player, so probably not. It's just something neat I collect she occasionally finds something she likes. Specifically autumn themed. I did tell her I snagged the Korin Kimono Miku Nendoroid, and she really liked that one, too.

This is the first time I've seen real nylon on a figure instead of fishnets, that's really cool...But it does kind of make me wish they'd done the mesh part of her dress with real nylon too. Other than that, that Albedo figure is absolutely stunning. I also *love* the mica powder on the wings, that makes them so pretty and interesting, but maybe blue would have been better for her? I don't know much about the character, maybe gold is better lore wise, but blue or purple would fit easier with the color scheme

I think they used gold because her og outfit has gold on it, but I agree with you that blue or purple would have been a more appealing choice. ❤

my favorite hands down was the Albedo… cuz well it’s Albedo. Also the weapon is called Naginata typically a weapon for female warriors of nobility which fits Albedo very well.

THEY ALL LOOK SO GOOD!!! When I saw that majestic Land of the Eternal Miku on AmiAmi I smashed that buy button. Thankfully she happened to be on a good sale when I picked her up but now she's stuck on the boat for the next few months (┳◡┳) I pray for her safe voyage. She's definitely my favorite "asian" style Miku out of the few different ones I've seen around.
That Albedo is stunning, especially the wings. I was thinking about picking up that one too but I'm not familiar with Overlord at all so I decided to pass.

Based mommy Albedo collector! All 3 figures are gorgeous but I'm a sucker for Albedo. Those colors, wings and "proportions" + that cute face on that figure took the cake for me. About the poles, I'd rather have poles to support the figure than seeing parts sag/break after time. I'm also pretty sure that mommy Albedo doesn't mind managing 2 poles at once lmao /dirtyjoke.jpg🤣
