They don't sponsor people as the Lush owners say they only believe in word of mouth so they'll never have adds on TV or sponsor somebody to tell people to go to Lush. They believe that if you enjoy Lush you'll tell your friends and so on.
Manders Doherty there's a lot of truth in this! I've taken countless friends to Lush and have insisted that people visit the store. A good company doesn't need to spend millions on advertising, the products will advertise themselves!
I know Lush have previously discounted her, like a 10% discount or something but I don't believe they have sponsored her? Has she previously said they have? If so I'm sorry for disbelieving you but as far as I know she is not sponsored with them.
damn, I knew bubble bars lasted longer than bath bombs but 8 years is impressive! now I won't feel bad if I don't use mine up lol they'll get used some day xD
"stabbed my butt" Hahahaha thanks for making this I have some pretty old bath bombs that I procrastinated using because they were limited edition and then became questionable if I should still use them...
Ash Hart old bath bombs will probably sink and may not fizz as well like a new one would but other than that I used one that's probably a year old and it was fine just a little boring 😂
I had no idea that lush used to use craft glitter in their stuff. I hope those plastic stars went down the drain and filtered out so they didn't end up in a stream somewhere! XD
I found an old fortune cookie soap bubble bar/ bath bomb from goodwill still in its wrapper. i looked it up and it was from 2009. I used it, it didnt fizz or bubble but it did have pretty color and still smelled good.
I knew I had it, but as the years went by I had less of a desire to use it since it was old, then the other day I was sifting thru my lush stash and just thought "Today is the day, let's make a video and see what happens, lol"
I think it depends a lot on how they're kept, in a humid environment the bath bombs lose a ton of their fizz but they tend to last well if they're somewhere super dry. I had a couple of unwrapped bath bombs in my bathroom for like a year and when I tried one it just sank like a stone and just sort of melted I wouldn't use any of their skincare or makeup type stuff after its expiration date though. Some products even get moldy after awhile
I really like the color of the water on this one. Sorry that you get stuck in the but with stars lol. If you have more old unused products maybe you could do a series of them. You could call it "will it still work" or something like that.
Thanks this was informative! I am waiting for my big whirlpool tub to use any bubble bars and I was wondering if they'd keep for up to a year or so. Looks like I'll probably be fine!
I have a bubble bar and bath bomb that are about a year old and I wasn't sure if I should use them or not because I didn't know if or when they would expire
Did you actually bathe in it? Because I have a couple old ones I'd like to use that are about 4 years old, I saved them from when I didn't have a bath and got them in giftsets.
That Lush bubble bar has went through my entire middle school, highschool and half of my college experience. Dang
Lush should totally sponsor you if they don't already!
Trisha B i dont think they sponsor anyone. they are a multi million dollar company lol they got enough publicity.

they literally sponsored Zoella
I know Lush have previously discounted her, like a 10% discount or something but I don't believe they have sponsored her? Has she previously said they have? If so I'm sorry for disbelieving you but as far as I know she is not sponsored with them.
It looks like highlighter fill! Jesus, that's bright!

wow..after so long and it still works like a new one.
Jenna BeHere ikr!
That's awesome!!!!
Those stars are definitely not biodegradable 😂😂
If the bubble bar came out in 2008 that means it really 8 years old which means its a little kid
"stabbed my butt" Hahahaha thanks for making this I have some pretty old bath bombs that I procrastinated using because they were limited edition and then became questionable if I should still use them...
jabbing me in the butt, LOL!
Ash Hart old bath bombs will probably sink and may not fizz as well like a new one would but other than that I used one that's probably a year old and it was fine just a little boring 😂

Anne Hayward I don't think they use craft glitter any more for just that reason.
Their glitter is now made from seaweed and is plastic free
I found an old fortune cookie soap bubble bar/ bath bomb from goodwill still in its wrapper. i looked it up and it was from 2009. I used it, it didnt fizz or bubble but it did have pretty color and still smelled good.
I wonder if the neon is because it's old or it's supposed to be that bright lol either way that's awesome!!!
Angelica Alvarado Probally... it's supposed to be bright.
I'm really interested in knowing how you came across this bubble bar!
I knew I had it, but as the years went by I had less of a desire to use it since it was old, then the other day I was sifting thru my lush stash and just thought "Today is the day, let's make a video and see what happens, lol"
I was always curious about old Lush products. I know Bombs sometimes lose their power.
I need to see if I have any bombs that are getting a few years old
I think it depends a lot on how they're kept, in a humid environment the bath bombs lose a ton of their fizz but they tend to last well if they're somewhere super dry. you should try to do an old bathbomb so we can see what happens when there to old
Ill see what i have but i dont believe i have any bombs this old, I feel like 3 years might be the oldest, but I will check
three years would still make a great example
That's awesome! It still works! I love the bright color!
I guess they discontinued this because of their change to plastic-free glitter! This is a very interesting video, you should do more!
I cannot believe how well that worked and the color was amazing

Lmao those stabby stars.
Thanks this was informative! I am waiting for my big whirlpool tub to use any bubble bars and I was wondering if they'd keep for up to a year or so. Looks like I'll probably be fine!
Lol another Mountain Dew pop bath with Fizz this time! XD
That COLOUR. What kind of dye did they use, highlighter ink??
Do those Stars clog up the drain at all....I always wonder if all the added items in those thing clog up drains....
Such a great video! Super useful. I've got a couple older things & wasn't sure if it was worth using them. Definitely will be!
This bubble bar has been around longer than I have been in school, lol.
I have a bubble bar and bath bomb that are about a year old and I wasn't sure if I should use them or not because I didn't know if or when they would expire
danniekim Even if it is it would just not be as sented or bubbly as it used to be but there is no danger
Wow! I love the color on this it's so bright! And it seems to work like new👍🏽🙂
Wow!! That looks brilliant for how old the bar was x
OMG I wish they remade this
Now that's neon lol
this bubble bar still works after 8 years but my 2 week old "Star Light Star Bright" bath bomb sunk and didn't fizz at all
Your bath water looks like highlighter ink!
It looks like a broken highlighter.
I find bubble bars tend to last. I have used old bath bombs though and they didn't fizz! But they still smelled good.
Very cool and interesting video. Also makes me feel less urgency to use my bubble bars LOL. Thanks!!
I love your videos so much!!!!!
Did you actually bathe in it? Because I have a couple old ones I'd like to use that are about 4 years old, I saved them from when I didn't have a bath and got them in giftsets.
I cannot believe the brightness of that water....
I'm loving that yellow!!
wow i lovveee the color!!!
It looks like that stuff in Sci fi movies

Was there a reason for taking so long to use this bar ?
😮 WOW 😮
