bro, i’m a fire rescuer in ukraine and i’m very thankful to you for your work. All the work to deliver this car will not be forgotten. Every car will be used for the for extinguishing fires and saving lives. Believe me, you deliver one car that saves thousand of lives. 🇺🇦❤
All the way across europe in a country that's currently at war and you still find a way to look at and drive old Volvos. Man's got his priorities straight :D Considering all that's been happening in Ukraine for the last year and a half, they seem to be doing a good job of keeping their spirits high
lovely ex buckinghamfire fire and rescue engine given my the paint work, knew she left to do other things afterwards but glad to see her off to do more good things to help those in need. great vid
We’ll he wasted how much money , to get over to Ukraine would cost a lot , big engine drinks the fuel , he’s probably gutted he couldn’t fill it full of oil , could probably buy an old fire engine in Ukraine for the money this has cost , might aswell donated money , would have saved probably 400-500 litres of fuel 🤦🏻♂️ kill the planet but it’s okay cause I’m driving a clapped out fire engine with a dodgy starter to Ukraine so that it can sit in a garage waiting to be fixed lol
Hi guys I live in Newcastle my wife is presently in kharkov in the east of Ukraine hopefully she be back here in Newcastle by end of July. Thanks for your support.
It was an honor to watch you take the fire engine all the way to the Ukraine 🇺🇦 you should be proud of yourself for helping the country with vital supplies ❤
I saw your clio video a while ago and I forgot to subscribe and I forgot your name and youtube was hiding your videos for some reason, so happy I found your channel again lol, keep up the good work !
What a wonderful thing you did. Hopefully, that Fire Engine will never need to be used, but if it is, I hope it saves someone's life and their property. You've experienced something that most of us thought only happened in European history books. That is an experience of being in a war torn country in Europe. An experience I'm sure you'd rather not have had as I wish you and more importantly the Ukrainians would never have had. This experience will likely remain with you forever and leave a lasting impact on you.
Well done to you guys. Looks like despite the war the Ukrainians are just getting on with life, which is great to see. Question: What was the issue at the Dutch border?
i have no connection to the guys in the video, but it might have been all the bells and whistles on the engine, it's highly illegal to have blue or red flashing lights and/or to have multi-tone claxons/sirens on vehicles that are not registered with "Rijkswaterstaat" (the DOT effectively) as emergency vehicles. I can completely imagine that having been an oversight on their part, especially as orange/yellow flashing lights are often described as "emergency lights" in The Netherlands, and ARE legal. As i said, no connection to the amazing work the guys in the video are doing, i'm just guessing based on the same information you have, combined with having lived in The Netherlands all of my 29 years :)
To say 'well done lads' doesn't seem enough for the huge effort you guys put in to get that fire engine to where it will be needed and valued. To see missile tracks and explosions in the sky over Kyiv shows how very real that war is and why your donation is much needed.
Wouldn’t even be correct if he had said it in the actual territory of former East Germany. It was never a part of the USSR and also had its own architecture.
Hello Mr Fairnington. The Ukrainian team of the newly created fire and rescue unit needs your advice. I have been following your RUclips channel for a long time and I see how you gave fire engines to our firefighters, for which we are infinitely grateful. We are looking for fire equipment and fire engines. Considering the fact that since the beginning of the war, Russia has caused great damage to our Ukrainian production of fire equipment and now this equipment is in great shortage, this is the only option for us to equip our unit with the necessary equipment. We are not looking for financial assistance. Our priority is to find equipment, even if it is far from new. We are even willing to repair it if it is broken. Maybe you know someone who could give us some tips or advice.
We have already communicated with "Operation Florian". However, they are unable to help us directly. All the fire engines and equipment they have already provided have been transferred to other fire departments.

Thanks bro . We really need this help
Do you know where the truck was built ?? .we used to have Emergency one in East Ayrshire Scotland that built them .
Still do
The crew cab conversion was completed by Saxon in Sandbach, before the body was built in Scotland. I remember the cabs being built around 1996.
