- testdrive with the Nissan Micra model year 2015 K13- Hello and welcome to the "Car Acceleration TV" youtube channel. We test the acceleration 0-100 of Nissan Micra Visia 1.2 12V with 80hp. In Japan and some other countries, the Micra is known as Nissan March. There is also a sports version of the Micra K14, this certainly sporting Nissan Micra 1.2 DIG-S Acenta Comfort-Plus with 98hp. In Canada, it is available with 109Hp. But it is not comparable with the old Micra 160SR with 1.6-liter engine and 81 kW / 110hp. We are excited about the new Micra 2016

I live in Québec, Canada, and my mom has one. About 5 or 6 years ago, the family took a trip to Florida, we were 4 people, packed with luggage and still made it. We had an average speed of 190kmh on the highway, and 80kmh on the little roads. Let me tell you, this car is surprising. Also, the interior is big enough to sit 4 people and fit about 4 hockey pouches, 3 suitcases and a bunch of backpacks.
I've got to add that it is a 30 hour drive from here to Florida at normal speeds, and we managed to make it in about 21/22 hours, only fueling up like 3 times.

+G yes, i have this car the full equip but with the 80hp motor, i never managed to reach more than 160 km/h not even downhill in 4th gear with standard 95 octane no lead gas.
Also this is not a car made for those things, not even for traveling, it is made for city and village to city travels, everytime i do more than 100km non stop with it at 120km/H it goes into some mode of overheated and automatically reduces the max speed to 80 km/H until the motor is colled down.
+jotasgasco I've got a 4 door sedan that weights 4200 pounds but can still get to 60 in 6 seconds, 3.8l 250hp supercharged v6, so it takes a lot to impress me

I've took mine to almost 200 KM/H on a downhill part of a highway. I looked a the speedo was so terrifed I instantly let off the gas.
I don't think the tiny tires are rated for such speeds lmao

@@timcheou5649 yea. I've put 195 section tyres on my micra, handling and ride has improved drastically.
Highly recommend. Another mod that can be done is upsizing to 15 inch tyres, which would suit the car perfectly.
@@hrishikeshs1582 i've tried both the 195 and 175. gotta say 1955 handling is very noticiable better.
but still i went with the 175 for the fuel economy. it's gotta be around 10-15% better (subject to other driving conditions). the poorer handling doesn't bother me too much as i'll just compensate with more focus lol.

+Poul Jørgensen Big error in speedometer: 110 km/h in speedo = 100 km/h gps (look at the "0-100 km/h (gps)" and compare it with the speedo). Highest real speed in this video is about 160 km/h (175 in speedo).

I've gone a 120 in Nissan Versa Note. It has the same engine as the 1.6 L Nissan Micra.
I've driven the k13 before and the maximum speed i measured by GPS was 174km/h on the Autobahn
My Nissan March 1.2litre K13, reaches 170 kilometres, so yes this small car is fast for it's class

You can see he has added a few goodies on it... who knows, maybe an ECU chip.. or even maybe just going downhill. On his other video it makes over 10s

You can set the video to run 0.25x. I see 0-100 in 8.4s.
It didn't hit 100 km/h at that point in the video, the cars speedometer just show he is driving faster than he is, so when the speedometer in the car says he is driving 100km/h he is probably driving more like 90 kmh, you can see when the timer stops at 9,9 sec the speedometer of the car shows 110kmh that's false at that time he is driving 100 kmh

This Nissan Micra may be diesel powered which is why it's going so fast. In fact, the back of that car, the 2013 front, the 2016 model, that Nissan Micra may be fake or damaged. Plus they're making car provocations.

He did raise rpm before starting so its not real real world valid. Also gps says 9.9 second to 100 but why do we trust the gps more than the car speedometer ?
Because all cars show more on the speedometer than your actually driving unless you changed to another tire or rim size than standard, and a gps is much more accurate

0:43 something doesn´t seem right, 105km/h in second gear? 110 hp 8.6s? mmmh looks like a differente micra, it has to be the sportiest , differente gearbox and more hp.
I have a micra with the same engine it's a 80 hp and it has tall gearing for more efficiency and i can tell you that the 2nd gear can go up to 100 km/h
