This amazing geocache container created by MonsterCatAmbush will be used as part of a mystery geocache. It consists of an outer container made from three concentric tubes and an inner container. You can only remove the inner container by rotating rings that form a combination lock.
This geocache will be located near Bloomington, Indiana - about an hour south of Indianapolis.

That guy is a credit to Geocaching. He's generous for putting that much time and money into a cache hide for the rest of us. Best regards!
I remember seeing this video when I first started geocaching and it still gives me goose bumps 8 months later!
For those who don't know, this is in the style of the Cryptex, made popular by Dan Brown and his Da Vinci Code novel.
VERY cool, sir.
Love the intro 10/10
Thanks for posting this video. I love homemade containers. Looks like a very FUN cache to do.
I have recently posted a few videos, a couple are very DIFFERENT also. Feel free to use the ideas from my caches on your caches.
Thanks again for the posting.
Geocaching = FUN
thank god you showed us the combination right next to the right one makes it easy for me to get it now.
We need more cachers like you. I have gotten into solving puzzle caches, but I haven't seen one like this!
coolest....geocache...EVER! Oh man and i thought i had seen some pretty cool caches in my time (which includes a bottle cap in the middle of a field and a fake cable box on the side of a telephone pole) but this by far takes the cake. If i am ever in the area i'm going to look his caches up!
Amazing container....thanks for sharing.
you can tell the combination just by looking at the letters on the back as long as thay are in the same place when you open it
I went with my friend fern today and we found 3. One was tiny so you couldn't get anything or fit anything in, the next was a bottle with a piece of string but you can't fit anything in that either because the lid bit was too small lol, and we found a little pot one, still to small to fit anything in lol
This presentation also available on beta max!
Wow, you just made me recall a time capsule that we burried in elementry school in the mid or late 80s sometime before the space shuttle Challenger blew up. I think some of the contents were to a newspaper or literature about the shuttle. Cool thought. I want to dig it up but don't remember where we burried it. lol I wonder now if there is a record at the school where it is burried. I think they were suposed to wait like 20 years so it's probably been dug up by now. Cool link to TCs and geoc'n.
Very cool, would love to come across something like that one of these days.
Hi progeocaching, why don't you make a video on how to make one of these?
im not asking for the combination but how do you get it, how is the puzzle done for it. do you have to find other caches to get pieces of the puzzle or is the puzzle on the geocaching werbsite? that's what is known as a codex. you can buy metal codex's on ebay but nice job in making that one. I know he isn't you but its a great job.
Pretty cool! Never heard of geo cache before, but that is amazing!
Awesome cache, great job!
Thank you for the 30sec intros.
i like Geocaching. its a good way to get loads of free stuff
@geocachespoilers . I think they are held in place with the metal bar. Feel free to contact MonsterCatAmbush for more details.
if i found that i would keep it and maby leave a new container but def keep it cus it looks cool. the best geocash boxes are old amo boxes
Ooo I live about an hour and a half from Bloomington
Didn't work for me either. but amazing job! Was there an inspiration?
@kghere00 RUclips doesn't let me post links in the comments, however if you go to my Progeocaching site and do a search on "Amazing", you'll see a description of this (scroll down the search page). In the comments section there is a link to a site with instructions on how to make it.
Awesome! It's a giant Cryptex!
LOVE THIS. One should just put on it "geocaching" and the bomb squad would likely never be called. AMAZING WORK SIR!!
That wouldn't necessarily work. If a person doesn't know what geocaching is and they see it, they would probably think it was a bomb and call the police, especially in the US with all the terrorism scares. When the police show up, if they can't see inside of it, they will destroy it. It happened to one of my ammo boxes with an "Official Geocache" sticker on it.
Very Nice!
Tattletales here in N. California has some amazing cache's......his latest is Star Trek Themed......this one is cool though!
thats so badass. Would be amazing to find. Anyone found this multi-cache yet?
Very nice !
You use a GPS to find little boxes hidden around. It's pretty much a huge scavenger hunt
Should've hid the letters all together. Because if you know how far the rear letters are from the front, just line those up....
Yeah, I wanna the building instructions!!! Will be perfect for a certain Lost Place...
Can I get those and from whom?
holy shit! crazy cool cache
I live near Bloomington!
dude the codes is easy look at numbers facing us then count how many off it is to the right code and there you go
what fun is that then?!
faribault minnesota has many very creative caches by seldon and a few others
I found one of these once in a forest... I was soo disapointed when it wasnt a weed plantation... Why do I allways hope of that... lol
Very cool!
will you post a how to video on this?? Record yourself building it????
That was the most nineties-vhs-cassete-like intro i've ever seen on a youtube video :p
Contact MonsterCatAmbush to see if he's put it out yet.
WOW nice one
90's called, they want their intro back. :D
It's going to be heartbreaking when it gets muggled.

Ive found a HARD magnetic geocache in kansas...thinking WE WILL BRING A CROWBAR TO UNLOCK SOMETHING
We don't need the code. We all have the code for the column two places to the right of the code window. Nice work camera man! LOL!
@progeocaching....how do u make this ids
why does he have a painting of an electric light in his loungeroom?
@kghere00. What do you mean ids?
If people found that, I think it would be way to complicated.
Check out our polish channel about geocaches. Dont worry, there are english subtitles! =)
You need to come hide some near me! wow
you can read the numbers from the backside -.-
BUEN CACHÉ......
if i ever find this it will make a muggle out of me...

@progeocaching Did you know I am doing another space launch? I am currently raising funds for it...
RUclips doesn't let me post a link in the comments, so please google kickstarter geocache in space to check it out and get a travel bug a seat on the shuttle!

@dicksnail. That's what I'm talking about! Love the high quality creative caches. Also love your space cache.
Do you get paid for geocaching? Because being 'pro' or 'professional' means you get paid for doing it. Otherwise you are not professional)
Maybe it's just an expression
I've found my way to the weird part of youtube again.
A lob book is so You write in your name along with other people

u would have to be pretty thick to think that was an atomic bomb
The link still works:
