I have watched nearly all of the crazy movie reactions that you two have done and this is the first one I had to just listen and stop watching about 16 minutes in... Honestly I don't know how you and Chey do it Wes but I appreciate the content, thanks for suffering through these movies for our entertainment. 🤣🤣💜
It’s my favorite Texas chainsaw movie but if you want to get just as fucked up Wes you guys need to watch next generation it has Matthew mcConaughey in it! It’s a crazy movie on par with Texas 2

Hi guys I love ur videos. I wanted to say alot of ppl like saying lefty was Franklin's brother. he is not his brother. lefty is his uncle. The fed guy clearly says to lefty in the beginning, your here because ur brothers kids were killed 13 years ago in way down south texas. lefty said don't you cry my brother because lefty is a holyman. he even called stretch sister. The move title words in the first film even says, Sally and her brother Franklin and their friends went on that tragic day. I hope you do texas chainsaw massacre 3 soon.

Tobe Hooper was disapointed that the fans of the first movie didnt see the dark humor in that which is why when he made this movie, he made the comedy right in our face.
Speaking of which, Bill Moseley as Chop Top stole the movie and this is the role that put him on the horror movie map. The story is that Chop Top was serving in Vietnam during the last movie and suffered a head injury hence the metal plate and the reason he keeps scratching at it is because it sexually arouses him
Fun fact: Nubbins, the corpse that Chop Top is always carrying around like a dummy is actually the dead body of the hitchhiker from the first movie and Chop Top's twin brother

@@Crazypixiness There's a guy on youtube that's into horror movies and he bought the actual Nubbins prop from the movie. But he then had to sell it. I think he said that it was way too much to handle and take care of. I can't remember exactly what he said but it was in an interview a long time back with the guys that do Deadpit on youtube.
*YES.* The fucking HUMOR is what made the first four Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies so great. The others are okay, but...the remakes would have sucked without R. Lee Ermey. And the other movies, good though they are, are just...NOT FUNNY.

I know I'm extremely late but fun fact! Bill Mosley, The guy who plays Chop Top (The guy with the metal plate in his head) was actually in a band called Cornbugs and in the songs he plays/sings as chop top!
I absolutely LOVE this movie. First is a classic and I get it but...Dennis Hopper yelling lines like "I am the lord of the harvest!" and then getting into a chainsaw duel? It doesnt get better than that. Also Stretch. Need I say more?
Bill Johnson and stuntman Bob Elmore shared the role of Leatherface. Even though Johnson usually gets credit for the role, Elmore reportedly did most of the violent sequences. There's more attention to detail in Johnson's mask, because he was used for closeups. So you can usually tell which is which when you look hard enough at their masks. Johnson is a much gentler Leatherface, and Elmore plays the violent psychopath. This is interesting, as it does subtly play up the idea Leatherface is a split personality.
Bill Moseley as Choptop is freaky and cool. He comes to Scarefest horror convention here in Lexington Ky almost every year.
Dennis Hopper going crazy with chainsaws is one of the best parts of the movie.
I’ve always loved this one. More humor brought out along with the horror. A really fun 80’s entry to the franchise. The poster, itself, for Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, was a spoof of The Breakfast Club movie poster. Always been a top favorite of mine.
These movies bring out such a strong reaction out of me, especially the original. It was so bone chilling

20:09 y’all were pretty spot on with the imagery. Fear of penetration is a very realistic fear, in any depiction, whether it’s being stab and/or killed, or even assxulted.
In any of these cases, there’s the fear of some sorta loss due to penetration, (a loss of beauty from scarring even if the victim survives the attack, fear of becoming undesirable (in line with our society’s standards of virginity) or the loss of innocence in the case of assxults (and in the case of male victims, loss of one’s manhood), and the fear of death).
Any time there’s a depiction of a staff/rod/blade (items that can be rather phallic at times) that can do bodily harm, it’s suppose to set off red flags for things like that. All of those are present in this scene, in addition to the sexual undertones of Stretch trying to fool the fumbling-and for lack of a better word, seemingly aroused-serial killer who’s enamored with her.
I love her too!!!! She's a beautiful badass.
I might be ahem ✨petty✨ for this but one of my favorite things when people watch TCM 2 for the first time is reacting to the outrageous scenes like the Chainsaw Grinding scene between Leatherface and Stretch, the first time Chop Top Sawyer (the ghoul with the plate in his head) comes on screen, and the last shot of the movie of Stretch covered in blood doing the chainsaw dance from the ending of the first movie.

[Another TCM movie I highly recommend is the movie that's a sequel to the remake while still being a prequel/ origin story, the 2006 Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning, it tells you how Leatherface came to be, how the "Sheriff" Hoyt came to be, why the family all decided to become cannibals, and has an ending that will leave you TRULY GAGGED.

The underground lair from the 3rd act is suppossed to be an abandoned theme park called texas battle land, the sawyers moved parts of it underground, and used it because no one comes anywhere near it🤣👍. Those figures you saw behind lefty were wax statues that were part of the theme park.

In the first attack Leatherface is holding his brother from the first film.
Lou Perryman, who plays L.G., actually worked as a crew member on the first TCM movie. He was tragically murdered in 2009, apparently in a random act of violence. His killer is currently serving a life sentence.

Lefty is the uncle of Sally and Franklin. The corpse that Leatherface and Chop Top were dragging around with them was the corpse of their brother named Nubbins, who's the hitchhiker from the 1st movie. During the events of the 1st movie, Chop Top was fighting in the Vietnam War. Also, Drayton is not the father or uncle of Leatherface, Nubbins, and Chop Top, but rather their older brother.
LOL That is the strongest chainsaw on Earth. It's like it's made of fucking adamantium.

I am weird in that my favorite of the TCM movies are the ones most people hate (other than 2022, I agree that that one sucks lol), but seriously, I love this one, I love the fourth one (next generation, which I NEED yalls reaction to, like if you thought leatherface was a little💅before, WOOOOOO BOY), I love the 3D one, like they don't try and take themselves as seriously and I think they’re just more entertaining to watch because of that, compared to the third one, or the remakes (which ARE good, I just don't like them as much)

Chop Top was my fave, despite how nasty he is.
I remember seeing the ad for this when it was released and wanting to see it (of course, not knowing a stitch of spoilers or plot on this, didn't even see the trailer), well, never got around to it during it's very short run (can understand why). I ended up renting this from my local video store...and the way you both reacted was exactly the same for me back then. I swore I would never see this movie again, I was so disgusted with it as much as disappointed. So, this is the first time seeing it in all these years and...still disgusted. Lol. 🤮

Yes Leatherface can be a softie because you have to realize he's not just a mentally unstable person because they all are, he's a special needs person which is why he doesn't talk. He was raised in that lifestyle because of the father. That corpse they drag around and in the beginning in the car is their mom. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason she is dead is because she was a abducted rape victim of theirs the father killed her after having those two kids. Who probably endured hell in his captivity during his youthful 30's or 40's.

Leatherface (not the character, but the 2017 movie - well, both that one and the one from the 90s, but specifically this one) was a GREAT movie and an excellent prequel that showed Leatherface's origin story (it's not what ANYBODY thought), but I want to see one even further back. I want to see Grandpa serving as a little Confederate drummer boy, starting his creepy little inbred mutant family, taking over a patch of land to build the family's slaughterhouse, witnessing the invention, industrialization and mass production of the motorized chainsaw, developing a taste for long pig, and teaching young Drayton how to cook, and saving a defunct amusement park from a scheduled demolition.
