- How I decorate roses with glitter, this could be any flowers.
I personally find the best supermarket for flowers for value and longevity is good old Tesco.
Please do check aswell when you are choosing flowers, in their bargain bins. They have fabulous deals on flowers that have only just past their selling date for the 'supermarket selling' dates.
This little project can be done with any flowers, but I'm addicted to roses. Obviously taking the time of year aswell, they are the flower of LOVE.
These flowers have only cost me £3, I usually choose the bigger bunch at £5 and they come in a variety of colours.
I bought the spray adhesive from The Range.
I usually go outside to spray, or spray into a plastic bag.
Then cover with the glitter colour you want and voila!!!
I usual find the flowers last longer this way.

In my vase you don't seem to see it, No idea why? You could also pop a vase within a vase and pop fruit. Or put in a mason jar that's been painted or a coloured vase. Xxx

I was told when buying roses to completely strip all the leaves off them and they will last longer as the leaves soak up most of the water not leaving much for the flower heads

Hi Sally, this is handy! My daughter is dancing in the Panto at the Mechanics starts tomorrow, I will buy her some flowers as a good luck and decorate with glitter. Did you get the adhesive and glitter from the Range?
Glitter was the massive tubs they were selling for Christmas from the range, ok they may still be there. If not they will have some white on the shelves. Glue was from the range on burnley. And of aisle I think I picked it up from. Pop paper underneath to catch the excess and pour back in your glitter tub. Send me.a picture please, I would love to see. Xxxx

How long do the roses last for?
It all depends where you keep them. In my conservatory which isncoldnin the winter they will last up to three weeks. In my living room about 5 to 7 days. X

Gosh someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Seriously what's the point in commenting? Are you permanently in a bad mood?
Her son did help her. She just told him to be careful with the scissors around the flower petals like any mother would.
I mean he is small there isn't a ton he can help with besides sitting close and touching them. What u want to hand him the scissors and glitter and go to town?. He could be sat in front of the tv in the other room. Plus he is learning they are delicate.
