Good video, Thanks... I upgraded my 8 ch Loocam from a 2TB hard drive to a 8TB hard drive. I've never done it before; I had no idea how! I watched ur video 1 time, and successfully made the upgrade. It's not too tough, (after the fact), however, a little scarry with a $350.00 hard drive and no experience... Again, Thanks.

Would this help my lorex DVR going offline? That's my only problem always going offline.

Do this work whit all DVR brands ? I did read some in google that if youi have a 400gb recorder and set in a bigger in , the system only handle 400 of the new drive and also that the old drive casn have some filmware on it that needs to set on the new drive, I have a old Panasonic VCR 930H-s from 2005 but has at least a Dv IEEE 1394 (firewire) connection that,s alows me to connect my old DV camera digital on it

Thanks for the video very useful i have the Lorex 19inch wide screen LCD Monitor with integrated DVR which is no longer being sold and my HDD setup process is stalled and i am looking to replace the Hard drive and increase the hard drive to 1 TB or more if i can my Model No is L19WD814321P and Serial No DF020910335 Will the hard drive being shown in the video fit mine if not which one should i order and from where
