A short-lived joy however, as he felt a sharp pain in his ankle and looked down to see he had been bitten by a white snake. He spent the next 3 days and nights teetering between life and death. He pulled through, and now whenever he hears those words, it reminds him of that time and triggers his body's fight-or-flight mechanism. Pretty sure it was something like that anyway, it's been a few years since I last played this.
Ah Date's um motivation/get serious song I guess (it varies per scene and per timeline). It's crazy how this series can go from horrifying to traumatic to hilarious and then WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?
The intro focusing on "those words" were perfect. Jonny clearly knew what he was doing and it only makes me love this cover even more. (I already loved it alot)

No, it's Pit specifically wielding the weapon called the First Blade. Dark Pit does wield a gun in at least one artwork, and a trophy, but in those he's standing with both feet on the ground. In this particular image of Pit you can see something that looks like an object below his waist, which is actually the flappy bit of his clothing. The pose is the same too.

It is a very solid and fun game. I would recommend checking it out if you are into mystery plots and don't mind visual novel, point and click and puzzle elements. The director of the game also did another series of games called Zero Escape which I would also recommend.
