I don't know why but we love these kind of videos. It's so fun to see what other travels bring with them, and how they manage to fit all the bare-neccesities with them. Great video!
What a perfect timing! I've been watching your videos since around 3 months ago I decided to plan out month long backpacking SE Asia with focus on Thailand and I learned a lot from you! Looking at other people living my dream life helps me to keep going and trying to make it happen
Love your packing videos! I love that you always show your clothes worn, because that's one of the parts I struggle with the most. I want them to be practical, but I still wanna look good :D
@@BackpackingBananas I love that part too and was surprised at how wrinkly your stuff was this time. I'm going to have to rethink what I bring to try and eliminate a lot of that.
I am going onboard a ship for 5 months and when I get back in Januari, I'm planning on going to Thailand for about a month thanks to you! absolutely loved the Thailand series and will need to rewatch it before I go.
as a chicagoan who wears layers from oct-may, i am ALWAYS amazed at your cold weather clothing! i am so impressed! i pack wayyy too much and have given up on backpacks bc i want to wear so many layers. i think i need a warm weather vacation!
I bought a Rick Steves backpack for a recent trip to Mexico and although a bit heavy it worked well. I made the great error of taking a big book and my iPad. I see all your items in your backpack and can only imagine that you are as strong as a horse!! Your recent videos on packing inspired me to order some bar shampoo for me and my wife and it worked great and will last forever! Thank you!!
I am in the last week of my exam period and I just can’t wait for it to finish so I can travel again. This video brings me in the right mood for that 😍
Yesss I've been waiting for a packing video! I love these! Okay my next bucket list country in thailand!! Hopefully this summer when travelling feels a bit safer
One tip that might help for period products is you might want to try a menstrual cup. You just clean them between uses and boil between cycles. then you don't have to keep buying more tampons. they might not be for everyone, but i've found them to be a lifesaver!
Ah yes I’ve tried a menstrual cup before and it was great! But now I have the coil and my doctor told me I shouldn’t wear the cup with the coil in case it sucks it out 😳
You really are a well-organized traveler, aren't ya? Good for Jeremy, he doesn't need to worry about anything, you've all planned and organized. Can't believe almost 27thousand viewed your unpacking video which included me. 🤣🤣🤣 You guys have fun, yeah? And be safe. And have a lovely, lovely trip. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍
Love your packing videos! I’m off to Sri Lanka for three months and just bought the Mikkoa towel & travel yoga mat. So glad I found them! Can’t wait to see the rest of your videos in Thailand 🤩
Your packing videos are some of my favourites🤩 When will the solo trousers and shorts be on sale? I NEED them for my backpacking trip at the end of the year! I have your towel and bumbag and I can't live without them🤩
Always love you packing videos! I bought the same Birkenstock sandals in black last summer and they're so great. I wore them all the time in Mexico 😄 Really cool to see how much more minimal you've become with your packing! I might have to try out that deodorant, I usually need a strong one especially for hot destinations and since it's liquid-free it would be perfect for carry-on. I usually have a hard time finding one that's liquid-free and strong enough for my needs 😅
just to let you know that the snorkel is almost certainly meant to be bent like that! if you google cressi snorkels a lot of them seem to be like that so don't worry! although I know its been a while now so you've probably already sorted it out haha
I have the same birkenstocks in white. Went to costa rica w them and omg so practical i would wash them every night😂😂. Met a few backpackers who had the same. Such a great purchase
Just at the end of our two month trip in Thailand and the trousers with zips would’ve been a lifesaver!! Where can I get a pair?! Love love love them 😍
You are as beautiful as a narcissus flower, as luminous as the moon, and as pure as distilled water. Your poplar eyes are home to beauty, and your black eyelashes are like the blackness of the clouds in a moment of rain. You were created in goodness as an individual, so your goodness is not second, as if you are something that contains all meanings😙🙏
For everyone thinking about buying the eagle creek companion, I highly recommend it. It's my favorite travel backpack of all time, very sturdy and you can stuff this thing like a champ!
I bought mine after seeing her videos and managed to get one of the last ones in November from Amazon Canada. I wanted the purple one but they only had the blue. Now that I know how to pack it; I just have to wait for Taiwan to open their borders.
Do you know where still stocks the Eagle Creek backpack? Hard to find! Or do you know/recommend any other brands that have the same features as that one such as opening up like a suitcase? It’s a super handy feature!
Please get a better camera for your next trip. Dji osmo is convenient but as a popular content creator your viewers deserve some delicious quality to go with your great content. I'd suggest even the canon m50.
Hey Christianne, love your videos! Wondering when your Solo trousers and shorts are coming out? We head off for our travel trip in 6 weeks and I feel like I need these in my life!
Great video again! I would suggest to get the contact lenses in Thailand itself as it is much cheaper than in UK/the rest of Europe! Hope you have a great trip!!
I went down the rabbit whole of your videos. Wonderful job! Thank you so so so much for sharing. I have yet to see anyone talk about traveling with a hair dryer to Thailand. Do most places have them? Do you not need one? Any helpful tips?
Hey Christianne, thanks for the video! I was just wondering if you knew when the solo towel will be restocked? I’m going on a year long trip to South America in June! :)
helpful thank you. Never sure about the 100ml limit on items and the amount you can bring in carry on. Not an experienced traveller but always thought you needed one of those tiny see through bags that airlines give you. Any reassurance gratefully received!!
You are allowed one litre in total and it is not the amount of liquid it is the size of container and it has to be in a bag no more than 20x20cm, she got the large items after going through security in the shops at the airport x
Yes they do need to fit in the bags at the airport - I just pick one up when I’m there to go through security. So the smaller your liquids going through security - the better!!
I still can't get over the hotel name...Chillax! I noticed no bar soap or shampoo. Any particular reason or just didn't have time to get them? Great video and I'm looking forward to the series!
Amazing video! The backpack is currently unavailable on amazon :( also so you only took a carry on luggage ? currently trying to decide if we need to include check in luggage, planning to go to Thailand for just over 2 weeks in April. And you mentioned your flight was with scoot, was there any issues? their reviews are so bad! Thanks :D
I go on Wednesday and I’m soooo stressed about my bag situation. I have and plan to take an Osprey 40ltr as my main bag and a Nike Rucksack as my day/valuables bag. The idea is so I can travel around and not have to check any luggage into hold. So I’m like are these 2 bags too much? If I wasn’t taking my laptop I probably wouldn’t take my Nike rucksack/valuables bag. Closer it gets to leaving the more I’m worrying haha!
I would still roll tightly and neatly over folding as you can fit the same amount in a smaller cube and as i have said for years on your videos the flatter the better as it, each cube could be sized down so it overall bulk is far less is easier to handle in the backpack.. it also applies to ALL pouches and bags for storage. Also rolling helps prevent that creasing LOL!
Hello just wondering if you wear daily contact lenses? I’m going travelling for 6 months so not sure if I should switch to monthlies to save space in my luggage
Genuinely consider getting a menstrual cup! No need to carry around a million tampons, better for the environment AND more comfortable. Definitely a must have in general, nevermind for travel
I really don’t understand how your 40L backpack is twice as big as my osprey 70L backpack?😩 great video tho! I’m traveling to Thailand for backpacking next week, maybe we’ll cross paths!
Just found your channel and loving your videos! Quick question, how much did you backpack weigh? I'm also in Surrey, UK and looking to book Scoot airlines Gatwick to Bangkok but the economy ticket says 10kg carry on luggage???
Hiya! awesome travel channel. I was going to ask a question regarding a previous vid. How did you rate the PCR test from the provider in New Malden? I ask as I live in in the same town and thinking of using it for testing before my travels. Thanks!
Is your snorkel prescription? I've not got good eyesight and not sure how I feel about snorkeling with contacts in just in case there's leakage, but I won't be able to see anything without some sort of eyesight help!
Great to see your culturally sensitive wardrobe 😏 (Just fyi in Thailand, for travel newbies, you must have your shoulders and knees covered for entry to many sites and it's just more culturally sensitive generally)
