Want to Install Cruise Control Into Your VW Transporter T5.1 or T6?
If you like to DIY and you have an electrical or mechanical mind, then this is the video for you! From starting in the driver's seat to ending up in the engine bay underneath the battery in the large fuse/ECU box, this job will certainly get your hands dirty.
This video was created to help you and talk you through each step of the way. However, please bear in mind that this "How To" video is slightly different to normal. We don't show you every single part of the installation at normal speed as it is quite involved and can take a few hours so we speed through some of the less interesting parts and continued for the important information we think you'll need. (Also, more importantly, the colours of our wires might differ from something you've purchased and could do damage to the vehicle)
We talk you through what you will need to do, things to look out for, where you need to wire in each section to the vehicle plus any tips or guidance we can offer.

All BCMs in T5.1 and T6 support Cruise Control or its some differences just like in T5 (some are support, some not)?

Did 3 T5,s two of them mine and the other for a friend , by far the removal of the connection cage below the battery was the worst part of the job .
