Just wanted to say thank you for an excellent video! I was actually just replacing a broken mirror, but this was an amazing guide and made it easy as pie. I followed ben's suggestion and hung the door card while i was working so I didn't have to take all the cables off. Thanks again!
Thank you for your kind words & super! And yes Ben's suggestion is an excellent one! We're happy you managed to get it sorted! Combined team effort! 💪 🥳
This was really helpful, I had to replace the aluminium bracket holding the mirror on. But GOOD TIP, when I removed the door card, I put a strap around the handle and tied to to the top of the door frame to hold it up, so I didn't need to disconnect any of the wiring to the door card, only what was needed for the mirror. I had to release the wires from the square wiring harness (to feed it back out through the mirror bracket) which I did by knocking them out from underneath with a hammer and pin. Thankfully it all worked, but involved a lot of problem solving along the way.
I have factory dab radio on my t6. The the reception isn't good but any means. Is there booster or anything instead of fitting antenna on the roof. Cheers

What are those two metal triangle clips in the backing of mirror glass used for? I ordered a new one which came without it and the old bracket clip is hard to take off
@@AdvancedInCarTechnologies I have been involved with short wave radio since the 80,s. There is a antenna share adapter for two radios. Integrated radio vhf 88mhz - 108mhz add digital radio can share one antenna. In short we don't need two antennas.

These are locator clips to hold and locate the mirror glass in the correct position. Hope this helps 😊
Two radios can use one anttena by using a splitter
Hello Simon,
Slightly confused. Why would there be two radio's in one vehicle? :)
Please let us know if we have misunderstood you.
Kind regards,
Matt
