I’ve installed the tuning box in my Ford ranger 2.0 biturbo. I left it in race mode, as it was from factory and I increased the potentiometer and then I saw difference. I tested my car with dragy. The results are: without chip box best time 10.3 seconds 0-100. With chip box installed best time 8.9 seconds 0-100! Big difference! I hope not to blow my engine 😂
Don't worry, Revo, when I asked them, told me Stage 1 (around 140 hp boost) is safe for both the engine and the DSG dry clutch. Plus, if you turn it up too much, the car automatically cuts power to protect itself. Don't worry. Just make sure to disconnect it when taking it to technical inspection when you need to renew your car's registration.
I haven't NOTICED per se anything different, but what I have noticed it needs much less time to overtake, and you can quickly overtake even if the car in front of you is going over 90 km/h.
Italianspeed chip is the worst quality " chip tuning" Actually is no " chip" inside the box only some resistors and a pontensiometer, the cost of the row materials is no more than 10 euro. The " system" cheating the sensor, not that clever, nor good for the engine. This " italianspeed box is not a real chip tuning.
