God can use our pain for growth but most importantly God is not the inflictor of the pain, it is when we go to God in and with our pains then we realise how God is always there and how rich is His grace in helping us live through and rise up from ashes.

Read C. S. Lewis. We won’t seek God unless we desperately need him. Pain is the catalyst to deeper understanding of God’s love and perfecting of us.

People would ask: Why does God make suffering? But He doesn't. Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil because they wanted to be their own God. So does humanity. We go about our lives in rebellion against God. Look at our world. The beauty. And the overwhelming suffering. It's due to free will being used to rebel against God. Sin, death, suffering, and illness entered our world. Since humanity tries to be God, our world is messed up and fallen. We trivialize lies, hate(considered murder with the heart in God's eyes), lust (adultery with the heart in God's eyes) and all our other sins. But, God still loves us, so he made the way for us to be reconciled to Him. If humans would just turn and give themselves to Jesus, they would receive the Holy Spirit that would lead them to want to do good and not run to sin anymore. It'll break the desire for rebellion. Jesus suffered for our sins and offers our debt completely paid through Him, if we would just humble ourselves and agree that us rebelling is wrong. We will be saved for our faith though this world is fallen and perishing. If people don't, humans continue to cause suffering and will be given justice for every sin on judgement day. Eternal punishment is terrifying, yet we chose it. We must repent(agree with God that sin is wrong and turn from our sins) and have faith in Jesus. Not ourselves.

Thank you 🙏🏾 for sharing this video and message.
ROMANS 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Jesus Precious Holy Mighty Name I Pray Amen 🙏🏾❤️🙌🏾

The truth is, you have no right to hate him, GOD has done nothing to you, nothing. That's what you dont understand, he doesn't hate you or seek to harm you, never did, never will. But if you continue to blame him, and hate - GOD will grant you your wishes, and shut you out forever. Becareful, you can be seared forever and never again be able to love HIM. Everyone who is in HELL right now wishes for one chance to be on this earth to call out his NAME....just one glimpse of his majesty by breathing this earthly air, one moment of hope to read his word, one moment to be back in this world to see GOD and his glory - just like you see the sun, the night, the morning, the mountains, the sea, the river, etc etc....you have that gift right now and yet you hate him. good luck with that!

Your reaction is understandable, but know that it's the devil whispering in your ear to hate god. He's the not the one doing it to you necessarily, but he is allowing it to happen for a reason. The devil has power here on earth as well because god allows it for a reason. You're not wrong to feel pain or to want to blame someone for it, my only advice is to bring your suffering and problems to god. Whatever the pain or problem, he will make it right if you allow him to. That requires you to trust him and to seek him with all your heart. He won't show himself to you until you do so. I speak from my own experience, so I assure you I've been there where you are.

I suggest that bad things happen to all animals, including human animals. From my perspective, we have two choices. We can either believe that the universe was created by an entity that designed suffering as part of its plan ... or, we can believe (as did Stephen Hawking, before he died) that the universe always existed, and will always exist ... no plan involved. I prefer the second choice.

  • @charleshurstreinvention3959
    @charleshurstreinvention3959 2 года назад

Life is a struggle--as I tell my own subscribers. Known as bad luck--or overcoming adversity. The truth is that the universe dishes out the same bad luck to everyone. Even those born with a trust fund. The difference between someone who never seems to have anything good happen and the one who everything seems to always work out is reaction to bad luck and prior planning. Do you have a plan if your spouse were to die or if you lost everything in the stock market? Another example--I had a plan in advance when I bought oil stocks already halfway to the bottom--then they got crushed again. I already had another fund that was equally crushed but looked promising, much more so in the future recovery. I not only survived but profited a year later. Because my technique is simple--I picture worst case scenario and then plan for it. In advance. You can't control this ruthless universe but you can control what you will do if it throws that meteor at you. And that is the difference between those who crumble and those who succeed no matter what happens. Hope that helps someone out there--Charles

Why should not bad things happen to good people? This is such unbiblical question because being good never been promised with reward in life. There was only one good person who has suffered the worst and he choose it. He is Jesus Christ. I struggled with this unbiblical question in my life and God finally gave me the understanding about him . By being good if you expect bad things do not happen to you then your good nature is corrupted by selfishness. God is just and only he knows why people were afflicted since creation and even Job learned to keep his mouth shut before God but never got an answer. We do not understand who we are and do not know who God is.

I suppose a more theological appropriate title to this video should be: "Why do seemingly bad things sometimes happen to God's Children."

    WHOM DOES BIBLE TESTIFY ABOUT.
(Please open the Holy Bible and read the undermentioned Biblical verses 'real time' to understand this write up better).
    1. We search for everlasting life in the Bible, which testifies about the only one who can give it, i, e, Christ the Savior. (ref Jn 5:39)
    2. Jesus Christ and the Apostles testified about the Savior from Bible.
    Jesus Christ ( Luke 24:27 )
Note:- At that time Bible consisted of the Old Testament only. The New Testament was written much later.
    Apostle Paul ( Acts 17:2-3 )
    Apostle Philip ( Acts 8:35 and 30 )
    3. Then why the religious leaders and Jewish people didn't receive Jesus when he came for the first time 2000 years ago?
Because they didn't believe in the spiritual contents of the pentateuch of Moses and the books of other prophets in the Old Testament.
Jesus Christ pointed this out to the Jews in ( Jn 5:46-47 ).
Lord Jesus Christ also told his disciples, that these people fail to recognize him because they DO NOT understand God.
    ( Jn 15:21 )
The disciples were to suffer same persecution as his, if they were to preach his Gospel.
    ( Jn 15:20 )
    4. Repetition of old times and history.
    ( Ecc 1:9 )
What had happened 2000 years ago, could be happening right now as well.
Will we be able to recognize and receive our Savior when he comes for our salvation?
    ( Heb 9:28 )
Are we reading the Bible with a spiritual perspective? Aren't the gospel workers, who are trying to preach about the second coming of Christ being persecuted?
If you too don't want to be left behind like those ancient Jews, please type WMSCOG on your browser and read the "Truth of life" portion near the bottom of the page.

  • @goldinero
    @goldinero Год назад

I disagree. First, there are no "good" people. Jesus himself said, "No one is good except God alone." (Mark 10:18). So the premise that "bad" things happen to "good" people is wrong at the outset.
Second, Jesus said, "Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me." (John 14:11). So He is good and needs no suffering to learn obedience, despite what Paul says in Hebrews 5 on this subject.
Third, the primary problem with man that is obvious in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation is his lack of faith. It was lack of faith in God's word that caused Eve to accept forbidden fruit from a serpent, lack of faith in God's word that kept the Israelites wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, and lack of faith in God's word that Jesus chided his disciples about over and over and over again.
People interpret things as "bad" or "good" based on their experience of life in the physical world. But man only has five senses with which to experience it.
The spiritual world is so much more vast. And people rarely see it because they are blinded by the same shame that caused Adam and Eve to hide from God after they ate the forbidden fruit.
This shame also prevents those attempting to follow Jesus from enjoying abundant life because they _feel undeserving_ of it! So, build your faith through appreciation and praise to God for all the good in your life until it overcomes your shame. Then you will stop _limiting yourself_ in ways that invite experiences you perceive as "bad" and begin living an abundant life.
