So, I was wrong about Kontrol Freeks after all! Their actually an attachment that I can %100 get behind, especially for people who don't use pro controllers. I've said many different things about them in the past, both on my old Twitter account, and right here on RUclips, with most of the words being neutral or negative. Kinda stoopid lookin now eh? Once I tried KontrolFreeks normal sticks felt like trash and I will never go back lol. Also I put the longest freek on the long stick. I might be insane.

How, I have a lot of little rubber particles falling all over my controller, I'm afraid they may fall inside and cause it to drift. It's very messy.
my galaxy didn't last that long... my left one lasted like 4-5 months and the right stick about 12 months
high sensitivity with as low of deadzone as you can before it drifts, some games you can go full zero deadzone. feels like butter with a Kontrol Freeks on.

The only reason my control freaks broke is because I don’t hold my controller like everyone else and my thumbs are always on the side of the joysticks instead of the top but I would still recommend getting some as they helped me improve a LOT

I've been using kontrolfreek thumbsticks since the ps3 era. I swear by them, just got my inferno sticks in the mail for dualsense controller today 👍🏾

It was opposite for me, I popped on KFs (clutch) low rise on both which added just a tad of height but mostly surface area and grip. Dropped my sens 1% and upped deadzone 1% because it seemed way faster and harder to control. But now it’s perfect

@@dexterfn982 you're gonna have to shave off either the kontrol freek prongs or the thumbstick itself, I recommend getting the ps4 kontrol freeks so you'll have to do less modifications

Have used kontrol freaks for years, most of the time off, sometime on, but what I learn is the size, sm,med,tall, however what I did find most enjoyable to have and that's the CQC RUSH👍👍👍, turn them around to fit exactly where you place your thumbs, and it's easy comfort when playing first person shooter, and driving was well. I got them on both of my fastest controllers, and I can't use anything else compared to these CQC RUSH, really improve your performance in your game play, give it a try, you won't be disappointed. 👍👍.
I’ve had my KFs for almost 2 years and they’ve frayed a bit on the edges from use, but are still very tacky!

I’ve used kontrol freeks since xbox 360 Call of duty. And i use them on my elite 2, Cs Trust me once u start using and gaming with them more. They are way more comfortable to aim and play for long periods with then the standard hard little xbox one thumb stickss.
I agree I used them once and couldn't get used to them but they where more comfortable i just got some again to improve my potato aim
I have the PowerA Fusion Pro controller and I still put a tall KontrolFreek Galaxy on the shorter thumb stick. Lol, this makes it taller than the tall thumb stick that comes with the PowerA, the rubber gives me better grip than the little dots that are on the border of the PFA thumbstick, not only that but it being a bigger diameter makes me feel more in control of the stick for quick and direct movements. As dumb as this sounds when I play Fortnite and I'm up close with someone I tend to try and run under and behind them as they're jumping because not only does this put me behind them, but if they were to start building I can follow them up a ramp or jump in the box they're building and get shots before they can get the entire apartment complex up, and I was able to track them better moving my crosshairs up and over as I run under them to get behind them with the KontrolFreek than I was the standard PFA tall thumbstick, mainly because when I'm in the late game and my hands are sweatier my thumb would slip more on the regular thumb stick, but with the better rubber of the KontrolFreek that wasn't an issue.
I spent 80 since I have the Fusion Pro and I prefer the extended domed stick for my left but I like to use a high rise vortex on my right stick which is the extended analog for maximum and its more comfortable for my thumb to rest on without getting cramps which I use to get before the kontrol freek

Im one of the people who has an elite series 2 with a modern warfare clear Kontrol Freek on it. Only reason i use it is for the surface area on the thumbstick. Also cause ive been using them for years, but if you buy a pack of 2 tall ones i always recommend just using 1 of them like VCuda is, cause having 2 tall ones feel super uncomfortable (at least for me) plus ive never really had a wear out issue.

I’ve heard that the Xbox 360/PS 3 Kontrol Freeks fit really well on the Razor Wolverine Tournament Edition, but I didn’t test it, I don’t have a razor wolverine te so I can’t verify but I think you should try it

The domed thumbstick on the fusion pro is godly for modern warfare. Put it on a few weeks ago and my gameplay boosted a ton.
Domed is far superior for FPS games. I run extended dome on my right stick and short concave on my left.

Thank you for the video and you def were a major influence in me copping the Wolverine TE. So I saw only one other video on how to apply the Inferno Kontrol Freeks on the Wolverine TE... did you also "shave" the rubber off the Wolverine TE thumbsticks? Is that what you mean by "fucking with" them?
I actually sanded down the kontrol freeks themselves so I didn't damage my Sticks. But, that makes it so they won't fit in anything else. You could also use older generation Xbox 360 Kontrol Freeks, I've heard that those work

for me personally I bought the white galaxy ones and I’m really not liking one thing about them. I play cod on tactical so my right thumb stick is slide/crouch and my A button is jump. When I jump I have to slide my finger off the right thumb stick onto A and back again, but now that’s it’s higher it literally just makes it harder. The only thing I’ve found comfortable is using the shorter control freak on my aiming side and nothing on the left thumb stick.

I have a regular PowerA controller not a spectra or pro and it works so good and on the stock Xbox controller it works fine oh and I’ve had my Galaxy Kontrol Freeks for about 1 year and a half

I hate the Elite's are so unreliable, because they had one on display at best buy and really liked the paddle placement.
Oh, when start doing your PC reviews, I have something that'd fit into your retro anesthetic. I have a Assassin3D modified MadCatz Panther XL. I'd be happy to send it out if your interested in a retro review type thing. The original ruined me on keyboard and mouse, until it eventually died. Bought the modified one on a whim years ago, but never got around to using it.
I got a elite series 2 for about 10 days and the left stick already has issues registering forward movement. Thank God I can still return it!

They are indeed PS4 Inferno Kontrol Freeks. I had to sand the prongs down a bit so they'd fit over the thumbstick, but it works. I've heard that Xbox 360 KF fit as well

just saying cuda you can mod your stock controller with the elite 1s thumbsticks for nearly the same price and you get a total of 6 swappable thumbsticks the only downside is it will void your warranty so what do you think cuda?
I think its a decent idea, but I'm not sure most would be willing to take on a task like that. I'd actually be 100% down to do it and make a video on it, and I probably will lol. But I cant recommend it until I see the actual results

Don’t get it. Buy a Fusion Pro it’s cheaper, and better. Very good build quality and the thumb sticks don’t drift it also has paddles while the Wolverine doesn’t.
The paddles imo are far less efficient, but more accessible for most people. I know for a fact that the fusion pro is FAR more likely to break than the Wolverine, so in terms of durability, and especially stick drift, the Wolverine TE takes it home
I got the regular ones and they are huge on my thumb sticks and also incompatible with the Diablo ones I got which the guy at GameStop said they were.

Hey guys, I recently bought a razor wolverine te and I have refunded it due to it having one squishy/weird trigger and I honestly didn’t really like having to press a button instead of a paddle on the back of the controller and I didn’t really like the feel of it in general. It is a great controller and I recommand it if you want to become a better player but if you’re already really good with a stock controller or with another pro controller. I suggest you don’t buy one of the razor controllers since they are so different from all the other controlers on the market. I am now considering buying a xbox elite series 2 controller or the powera fusion pro. Have a nice day everyone !

I use Kontrol Freeks over higher thumbsticks because they are consistent with their thumbstick height. I’ve got an Aim, scuf, elite and powera, they all have different heights when it comes to their higher thumb sticks.
Edit: do not up ur sens, that kinda defeats the purpose of a higher thumbstick.
No it doesn't, what are you talking about? That literally makes no sense lol. So you're telling me you're TRYING to be slower? You do realize no matter what you do with your sensitivity, the advantages of tall sticks still apply my man lol
@@vCuda u get tall sticks so u can get those precise aim, upping ur sens kinda takes that away.
For example if you’re having trouble with precise aiming a taller stick will help (slow it down), upping ur sens defeats the purpose of it.
If you're having trouble aiming on short sticks, switching to tall ones is going to be even more difficult, and I know this because I made the switch in December lol.
And dude, your point LITERALLY doesn't make sense, even kontrol freeks themselves say that you should keep bumping up your sensitivity when you get them, so you can find the sense that works for you. Just because you turn up your sensitivity, that doesn't mean you're going to be less accurate. That means you'll be faster. If you're turing up your sensitivity and you're less accurate, you've pushed it too far.
This isn't info I'm making up either, this is something that kontrol freeks themselves have said, and I ended up picking up on it sometime last year. Hence, the existence of this video lol.
What you're essentially saying here is you should never change your sensitivity, Regardless of thumbstick height. Which is %110 false
@@vCuda I’m not saying you’re making anything up and yes I know Kontrol Freek recommend raising ur sens. I don’t have a problem aiming with short or higher sticks but I’ve got friends who has a very hard time making small precise turn/aiming which is why I said turning up ur sens kinda defeats the purpose of slowing down ur aim. Plus slower isn’t always a bad thing, most pro controller players play slow sens, even MnB players play slow sens/dpi. None of us are wrong here but I’m just saying for some players it defeats the purpose of a high stick when upping the sens. I never once said you should never change ur sens regardless of the height, literally putting words in my mouth now. I do however recommended lower sens. I made my switch a long time ago, since the MW3 days and it significantly helped me out right away because of the slow down since I use to play max sens for watever stupid reason, my point is that everyone is different.
Plus just cuz u think Kontrolfreeks are useless doesn’t mean it is, not everyone can afford an expensive controller.

And If you were having trouble aiming before, your sensitivity was too high already. So of course using kontrol freeks would help lol.
Upping your sense might be a bad idea for the small percentage of people who already play on a sense that's way too high for them, but that's not a category of people thats big enough for me to talk about in a video like this. It would've just made it convoluted.
Listen, I promise you I'm not trying to be douchy right now. But if you're gonna argue a point, stick to it, and don't try to frame it as something else after.

If the extention lowers the effective sensitivity and then you raise the sensitivity to compensate for speed loss. What's the difference?
The extended stick gives you a higher and wider curve. Meaning there's more area for your stick to move, which makes you more accurate. On top of this, the wide tips on kontrol freeks give you a ton of extra surface area, which increases accuracy because you have more places for your thumb to be. Its a difficult concept to explain, but its fairly simple.
The kontrol freeks don't just effect how fast you are, but how accurate you are, due to its physical attributes. So raising your sensitivity wouldn't negate the effects they have
