Simple steps to take. I purchased new batteries for backup for flashlights. I purchased solar lights I mounted some on the house and others I keep inside in my windows sill for constant charging. Buy an extra backup tank for your grill or purchase extra bags of charcoal. I tried cooking with tea candles and it works. Purchase a solar power station.

If you can stomach watching the videos, there's valuable operational insights into how certain things work in wartime you can glean just by watching some of these videos. Very important for those of use who didn't get a chance to serve and train up in the military.
For instance, I was watching some videos the other night of footage of the IDF searching buildings and homes in Gaza. You can get a really good sense of what soldiers would search if they came to your home looking for weapons. I saw one video where they were tearing open furniture and knocking into walls and pulling out AKs. Also interesting to note they were piling up items they found that weren't exactly weapons, but could be useful to an insurgency, things like binoculars, hatchets, radios, etc.
Sometimes I find it's easier to watch the videos on mute, to not be distracted by the commentary.
The takeaway is you are going to want to have some sort of off-premises solution if you want to hold on to your preps in the coming weeks and months, if you expect soldiers to show up. Very eye opening.
