    Super vlog! Another beautiful port. It seems like the ideal itinerary for what you love doing. Loved the kayaking and snorkeling, especially with the musical selection you chose. Rachel did a great job rowing. I also enjoy your playfulness with each other. Can’t wait for the next port.

    Hello. The country is an archipelago of islands called St.Vincent and the Grenadines with St.Vincent being the mainland. Thanks for stopping by my country and doing a small tour :)

    I'm so invested in your adventures on this trip. My husband & I have been debating doing our first Caribbean cruise on a newer, larger Oasis class ship vs a smaller ship. We're very much looking forward to your final thoughts about ROTS.

    • @JoshRachael
      @JoshRachael  Год назад +2

      Thank you so much for watching. I think it definitely depends on your goal of cruising. We do have a lengthy wrap up in the St Lucia video to help you make your decision
      We really look at two types of trips with cruising. Ship focused or itinerary focused.
      The mega ships tend to go to a lot of the same spots since the ports are larger and easily accessible, see Nassau and, Cozumel, and costa Maya for example. We view these as Ship forward trips where the ship is like going to an all inclusive like a Sandals or Beaches. You will find an abundance of things to do and places to eat on the ship and use our ports as quick stops to see something new hopefully but the ports can be quite crowded.
      The small ship needs to be a dream type itinerary for us or very port focused. We have 3 trips this year on “small” ships and have a total of 2 sea days out of 21. Lots of time off the ship is our focus, with little expectations for dining and entertainment value, but rather a hotel and transportation to the next dream destination.
      Hope we are able to help in your decision, please let us know what you decide!

      @Josh and Rachael's Food and Travel thank you for the terrific, concise explanation between the two types of cruising! You've made a strong case for both. I love sea days, and admire your upcoming energetic itineraries 🤯

    Is RC the only cruise line going to St. Vincent? Love your videos, Josh and Rachael. The clearest ocean water is in Tahiti. We did a 14 day cruise on Princess. Make the trip, you won’t be disappointed.

      @JoshRachael  Год назад +2

      Thank you so much. We definitely would love to get to Tahiti one of these days. So many amazing places, if only we had more time off from work 😂 I do believe other companies go to St Vincent but it seems to be few and far between compared to the bigger destinations
