That cat was soo cute... Your videos are so comforting
Thank you so much!! 💕
The bell jar is my favorite book ever - I even got a tattoo inspired by it.
And also: How cute is the cat you drew???? ❤
I love book-inspired tattoos!! And happy you liked the cat doodle 🥰
Oh wow, just came across your channel and am so grateful! Ive also had Vanishing Half on my tbr for the longest and have been scared to pick up for the same reason! I need to pick Girl, Woman, Other up too!
Thank you so much! Glad to hear you enjoy my videos!! I ended up reading the Vanishing Half and really liked it. Hope you will enjoy it as well!
I love this! I am going to add something like this to my 2024 planner. ✌🏽+❤
Glad you like it!! 💕
I’ve read Bell jar and Dorian Gray from your list. Interestingly enough booktube rarely affects my bookshelves and book buyings 😅 so I’m good on that front. This is interesting. Even though I consider myself a moodreader in general, I love having plans for some of my readings… ❤❤❤
Ahh you are more resilient to the booktube hypes than me then haha! And yes, I love a good balance between planned reads and just reading what you are in the mood for 😊❤️
Re Scythe: for real tho! Hunger Games is almost as iconic as Harry Potter for us.
I actually read Scythe, but I won't say anything so that I'm not influencing your expectations anymore than the rest of booktube already has!
Also, I love when booktubers have contrary opinions on popular books! It adds something different to the conversation! So don't be afraid to be honest if you end up being disappointed by something.
Right?? Haha thanks, I ended up not getting to it this month but I will keep adding it to my TBR list until I do.
I agree, it's quite refreshing when you hear a different side on a popular book. I prefer honest reviews over saying what your audience wants you to say. But some stans can get quite mean about it when you are negative about a book/author they like 🙃
@@chiara.kikisbookishservice nooo not the stans! that sucks
@@my0.25lifecrisis 😥 yes. But luckily most people in this corner of the internet are so lovely!
You should read Girl, Woman, Other. It's a great book. Very unique, amazing characters.
I've only heard good things about this book! Can't wait to get to it :)
