Detroit Become Human is probably the most enjoyable game I’ve ever played. Great story, great characters, tons of replay ability even years after the game came out. I would do anything for a live action show of DBH
The thing I love about Detroit Become Human is if you die as Markus you can’t play him for the rest of the game so it makes the player choose more carefully

Like the graphics are really good, the story is awesome, and they even made the boundaries on where you can go make sense for in universe. Like if you try and walk out of bounds you can’t obviously, but it shows you by using the ui of the android! That’s so fucking cool!!
I can agree to a certain degree. Kara's plotline falls apart when Alice is revealed to be an Android too. Markus' has some good set pieces and the rebellion is awesome until they sing. Connor's is certainly the best one. The dynamic between him and Hank is so powerful when you do the pacifist route. You can really feel how both of them befriend each other
@@hallacas1684cope, them singing shows that they have emotions and can be close to human, the whole point is to show how they can act human, also you can avoid the singing by loving north and kissing her, so your 1 critique for that ending is avoidable, also how does alice being an android make it fall apart? personally i dont agree at all, since they leave hints throughout, so it is a cool thing you can find out early, and it is meant to show how even kids can be replaced by androids, for me it expanded the world, personally i dont agree with any of your points what so ever, but its your opinion so yeah, enjoy it.

But, for the singing option, it would've been nice to put an original song and not a human created one (in story, I mean) Kara's storyline was about her being mom to (what we supposed to be) a human. A really nice dynamic between mother and daughter that hits really hard in a lot of scenes because you can feel that if you fail, Alice is gonna have a really bad time (like when she's super cold due to the weather, in the thematic park). When Kara sees that she's been coping this entire time, there's a little part of those instances when you feel the need to protect Alice at all costs vanishing away. Like, "oh dear, are you cold, Alice? Let's turn off your temperature sensors". Sure, I'm nitpicking, because I do like every Detroit character, but man. It was a really good opportunity to delve into what happens when an Android's best friend/family dies due to age (which only kind of happens when you decide not to fight in Markus' second section) or how's the life of an Android mother and knowing you're gonna outlive your loved one
I have 280 hours in this game. Pretty much exhausted every single ending, scene, choice, QTE, piece of dialogue, etc. I had family members and friends play this. I've replayed all the fight scenes in this so much, I've drained it of all possible dopamine. God, I wish there were more games like this. As interactive, immersive, emotional, and engaging as they come, and Quantic Dream's BEST game to date, better in every aspect - even gameplay, which I find super satisfying - than any of their previous titles. It's even inspired me to write my own choice-based narrative like this. Considering the other games you've platinumed so far, I was really pleased to hear you enjoyed this :D

@@prao2tapper Aside from Quantic Dream’s other games, i really haven’t found any just yet that are very similar to this. There might be but they’re few and far between. You might enjoy the choice-based stories of RDR2 and Cyberpunk 2077 however

I want to thank you for cursing me. After this I went to go get the platinum, and after 50hr, and 5 play throughs I went to go get my last trophy “Survivors”, but all because I entered into one section with Kara. The trophy became void. I thank you for introducing me to this game, but also screw you for convincing me to waste all that time.
One of the best games I've ever played, I got the platinum after my 8th playthrough, not did I needed 8 playthroughs I just love the game that much that I wanted too see all the different possibilities and endings
The only trophy I missed was the magazine one. When i saw that one, it was the last one and I wanted to kill ms because I thought I had to do all over again. But seeing you say it was easy and you could select the chapters killed me ☠️ why didn’t I think of that? I don’t have my ps4 anymore and I sold the game so I can’t get the trophy on PS5 (and I don’t know if I would want to play it all over again)
Okay the doing what you’re told as Kara the first playthrough is SO TRUE. Like game doesn’t really indicate what to do so I’m surprised only like 2% of players sit there

Honestly I agree to an extent. I love Markus, but I found a lot of his early chapters really lackluster and boring until you actually get to the real rebellion shit (like the march or the things on the android camps). Kara and Alice don't have a super interesting story either, but I enjoyed seeing their dynamic and the eventual dynamic with Luther develop.
I loved this game, even if the platinum was tedious. I got really invested in the Conner-Hank son-father dynamic. When you have to drive Hank to suicide, that hurt me deeply :C
It's weird, the amount of times you may have to replay the game to platinum it, I still loved it and never got annoyed, nor found it annoying to replay the game for the rest of the trophies
I remember spending a whole day to get the Platinum Trophy and man the feeling I got when I finally got it. There is just so much satisfaction in completing something in it's entirety.

11:20 - 11:24 I had the most Problems in this charter to play as connor. As I replayed it many times I did notice I need an specific chapter to die as connor. It was tricky I would say but defenetly worth to get the Platinum I was relieved!
I literally found myself letting Kara and Alice die on purpose in the beginning because their story was so damn boring. The game was so much more fun when I was just Markus and Connor.
I feel amazing when i get all trophies 🏆 from games like these. Until Dawn, The Quarry, litte hope, Twim mirror & few more. They take a long time but seeing so many possibilities 😌

The whole idea of a emotional android is rubbish, but the amount of different storylines depending of choices you've made in the game is mind blowing. I wish the story was different.
Everytime I come back to this game Kara’s story gets more boring so I just let Todd kill them both in Stormy Night and just play through Connor and Markus stories.
