I love the vernacular that Coney has cultivated in his community
you can tell coney genuinely loves "Immortality" by the sheer unwillingness to give any info about it. The fact that his ass wouldn't even say the premise honestly makes me want to experience whatever that game has to offer.
I have very good experience with games I played without any spoilers (Undertale, Omori, Inscryption, Portal series etc.) so I think I'm gonna check it out to.
I like him saying a 11-12 hour rpg is too long
Coney probably gives up in the first tutorial dungeon in any RPG

@@somedudewhoishere3026I don't know about that. Maybe adventure games but I feel adventure games just offer way more than an RPG does for me. Especially traditional ones Action RPGs get a pass by being a lot more interactive
coney has some of the worst gaming takes i've seen a gaming creator have, which is why i HAD to see his award show!!!
Pizza Tower for me, it really does just have such a HYPER FOCUSED goal of carrying that wild Wario Land energy and it landed it perfectly. NOTHING this year seemed to hit the level of focus and SUCCESS within that that Pizza Tower did. Hats off to the dev team, they created something with unbelievable precision.

Immortality getting the win makes me happy. It was probably my goty the year it came out. More people need to play it so I have more people to talk about it with.

Nah you absolutely right about Starfield. The thing is we all wish is was remotely as fun as Skyrim or F4 but they made is critical design choice to this game to make it different and it backfired on them so hard. I feel really bad about it. I want to love it, and I'm ecstatic that alot of people do love it. I just don't get it.

Why was pizza tower under biggest surprise it got constant non patron demos for years pre release?
Hearing Coney say 7/10 is "okay" hurts me very much. 6/10 is "okay", 7/10, is "legit good". Years of Metacritic and IGN has ruined our sense of notation.
Depends on how you look at it. If you equated it to a letter grade, that'd be a C, which is just an okay grade.

Kaleidoscope Core from Xenoblade 3.
It's a remix of Drifting Soul from Xenoblade 2 and it's a lyrical song which is very good with the context of the cutscenes that uses it.

The fact you only get 3 types and can't choose how to upgrade, have a day limit and need to collect ship parts is predictable, yes, but it's genius gameplay wise. It's basically making 2 different games without having to make new areas. It still feels fresh. It's genius.
