    I love how you and Joe give a personal humanized explanation of autistic people and how they are able to recall things so well. You and Joe make it easier for people to relate to autistics as well as offering creative ways
    to engage while being respectful of their boundaries. I love how the community has grown and I often enjoy the shared community comments. There's so much positivity and love for Craig and the family, I feel like many of us know you all better than we do our own families 😅
    My question for you, Nancy is: how has this channel affected you socially? Do you feel more extroverted or more comfortable talking to people or have you always been the fun person that enjoys trying new things? You do such a great job in getting Craig out of the house and participating in activities, I've often wondered if it was just natural for you or if it took some brainstorming and discussion with Joe (who seems more of an extrovert)

    I also think that a lot of people with autism have some type of special ability.... Craig's might be vivid memory That's why he can remember stuff so accurately..... I know a person that had aspergerson and autism, and just off the year you was born, He could tell you what day of the week that was.... I was so impressed when he told me that I was born on a Friday which I didn't even know until I asked my parents

    I love Joe’s description of Craig seeing the entire train as one whole picture where as others need to separately observe each little part.
    That is a perfect explanation for my 8 year old too. He loves to go to museums. He often wants to go to different ones in different cities we visit. He goes through the entire museum at a quick pace then wants to leave. He never stops, never reads many signs, and never wants to come back to see the little details we need time to see. Outsiders would wonder why he likes going or what he gets out of it. But his mind processes information sooooo fast! He does see it all. He sees and remembers details that I often miss! He views each area as one picture and appreciates every detail all at one time.
    I’ve never had a good explanation for it until hearing Joe.

    Since Craig doesn’t like spaghetti, does he like any other Italian dishes, such as lasagna or ravioli, etc with a marinara/meat sauce? I know he likes pizza, but wondered about that when he finally ate spaghetti (I mean string candy) today. Lol
    You did an excellent job explaining why Craig remembers what he remembers and helping to explain how his special gift from God of remembering works. When Joe said about the quilters (im one and have shelves of fabric and rioters and books etc. yet, I can go right to anything! Doesn’t mean I’m organized, either! Lol my husband was a lawyer and it amazed him that another he knew… had a huge desk piled high of papers. I mean, a mess of stacks of papers. He had to get some
    Information from him. He recalled sitting across from the desk and as he asked for each document, the man would reach into the stack on this side or the other side and lift and retrieve the exact document he needed. It amazes him.
    Guess what I’m having for lunch today?!?! KFC! 😊

    I’ve been watching y’all’s channel for a while. I have a question why does Craig hate the word spaghetti? Also does he hate the dish or just the name of the dish? Will he eat lasagna or any other Italian foods? I know he’s picky. My son Used to be picky now he tells me about dishes I’ve never heard of and should try.🤣 thanks for the videos. Truly fun and a learning experience!❤️ praying God continues to bless you.

      Craig hates everything about spaghetti lol. He hates the way it looks. When his brother was little Craig hated watching him eat spaghetti because it was messy. Craig does not like messy faces. He doesn’t want to try any foods with pasta.

    lol I reserved my comments on the Cracker Barrel video when it came to Moxie. I don't like it either. Dated a girl when I was in the military who loved it though. Not for me though. The Craig and Joe show lol Joe always messing with Craig. Out of love of course.

    I know video editing can be quite difficult sometimes and that errors are very easy to make (we're all human). At 22:29 the beginning seems to repeat. I'm unsure if RUclips still has a built in editor as if they did maybe it could be trimmed down to only have one instance. Initially, I was hesitant to click on the video due the length but that explained some of it. 😊

    • @ourdailyview
      @ourdailyview  Год назад +1

      I am aware of that and it’s vary frustrating because I can’t figure out a way to fix it. I just need to pay better attention to my editing. I use Movavi and no matter how careful I am in editing it tends to attach double clips that I really have to watch for. A different video editor may be in my future because I’ve been getting lots of glitches lately. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, though I always want to know about it.

      @@ourdailyview Not a problem, (I've had the same happen to me with video editing) it just had me initially thinking maybe I had accidentally bumped my Xbox controller trigger (which would cause rewinding.)🎮 😊
