      Enel and its subsidiaries produce and distribute electricity and gas in 30 countries around Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Africa.

      It's actually not surprising because the word "Biggest" in this case is not the correct word. The correct word(s) should be "Most Profitable". For example, Apple is by no means anywhere close to being the biggest company in the US in terms of floor space or employees, nor even in product offerings, however, in terms of making money, they practically print it themselves. In Italy, I imagine because the country imports so much energy, a home grown energy company can charge just as much as the import cost, thus they make boat loads of profit and top the inappropriately named list.

    • @Agora0000
      @Agora0000 3 года назад +2

      Enel bought Chilectra though so they have all their assets. Well, more exactly, Enel bought the Spanish company Endesa, which had assets in all of South America (including) Chilectra in Chile), and the subsidiary of Endesa which controlled those assets was Enersis, headquartered in Chile (the company was listed in the Chilean stock market). But in 2016 Enel decided to split up Enersis in two companies: Enel Chile and Enel Americas (with operations in Peru, Brasil, Colombia and Argentina).
      Both companies were more or less of the same size at the time, because the Chilean assets were very good and the market share of Enel in the rest of South America wasn't as big. In 2019 they merged Enel Green Power Chile (which was controlled by Enel since before they bought Endesa) and Enel Chile. They did the same with Enel Americas and Enel Green Power Latin America. If you merged both companies again they would be bigger than Falabella.

    Pretty sure Germany's largest company isn't SAP but Volkswagen. They sell cars in pretty much every country in the world and compete with Toyota and GM for the top spot in car manufacturing. So even though SAP produces software for many companies worldwide I don't think they come even close to Volkswagen. In fact I'd say most of Germany's car manufacturers (BMW, Audi, Mercedes) rank above SAP. I don't know what's going on there, but unless they take intellectual property into account I don't see a way how SAP could rank first and even then it's questionable imo

      Secondly " highest mountain in Europa"?? Really? The highest is Mont Blank peak from Alp Mountains. The Decebal sculpture is actually a cliff, not a mountain. The highest peak in romania is Peak Moldoveanu-3544m, not even the highest from Carpathian Arch. These are facts!. Why would you spread these lies?
