thanks for sharing! so many of the house pics that are in coffee table books & online are “documentary style” and tend not to show daily life at the house-the whole point of a house! It’s nice to see kids playing on the swing, spraying the hose, building forts, and getting snacks in the kitchen. I love seeing the chairs used outside.
As much as Charles & Ray loved making films, it seems they were camera shy themselves? The few clips I’ve seen of them are usually fairly formal. The video of Charles driving in the Mercedes is probably the most candid I’ve seen. And the only time I’ve really heard Ray’s voice is the audio of her accepting an award in England. Would love to see/hear more!
What a magical moment to get married in that meadow.
